Glad they went with the ps2 version for the ps5, looks so much better with the proper lighting instead of the overly saturated colors in the HD collection.
it looks way better than the ps2 and ps3 verison the shadows you can see more in the dark i used too have too restarted level because i could not see enemies in the dark shadows in a crt tv dang
Why, dammit, does Sony do this thing where they make you subscribe or pay for a game you already own digitally on PS3? And whats worse is they have set a precedent recently with Dino Crisis and Resident Evil Director's Cut which is if you do own it digitally on ps3 you should own it on ps5. Yet I own the whole Sly Cooper quadrilogy digitally on ps3 and have no option to download the trilogy on ps5. I'm stuck in a horrible limbo where I'm waiting for Sony's backward compatibility to catch up with itself or I end up paying for these games twice. Say what you will about Xbox but this wouldn't still be an issue. PS5 would have launched playing Sly and Dino Crisis natively if the leadership of both companies were switched. Like I can literally pull up my transaction history on the ps5 store proving I own the games.
I really get you frustration since I also own the trilogy on ps3 and im not defending sony but its not the same. Dino crisis and resident evil are ported to ps4/5 from ps3, while in the sly trilogy case they put the ps2 games on an emulator. the ps2 and the ps3 versions are almost two different games since the ps3 version is an hd remaster

they already have the collection on the PS3 lol i dont htink theyd wanna redo the collection again xD
@@Keyastaron_ Well ps3 is an obsolete console, wouldn't have been too weird to bring the collection instead to their most modern system.
Dude it loads so much faster on ps5 thank god
The loading Sly emblem going fast as hell is hilarious
@@GamePrime99 right 🤣
@@GamePrime99 it looks like a heart pounding
It looks really good on ps5. The frame rate and audio stutters on the ps4 version along with some visual issues.
Man, the lighting for the PS3 version... ain't great. PS5 has it beat in that regard.
PS5 is running this on an emulator
The PS3 version doesn’t look like that. There’s something wrong with how it was captured or something

PS3 version is the only one with widescreen it seems.
Yeah Sucker Punch didn't do any widescreen settings for any of the games, unlike Naughty Dog with Jak
I can't even tell what I'm looking at with the PS3 version
I read that sly 1 on ps4 ran too fast and some of the enhancements caused the game to crash, what about these two?
@@ajbennett5427 haven’t tried them on PS4 yet, but I heard the latest update to Sly 1 on PS4 did wonders!
I cant find Sly 2 on the psn...
Type in on search tab and go down a little to ps plus section and it's there. Just gotta look for it
It's there in my cart right now 10 dollars each
@CBall54 now I can find Sly 2 but still can't find Sly 3. What is happening with my PSN store

Why is your PS3 gameplay so dark? It is not supposed to look like that
Ps3 version has better color and shadows
Yeah I like the lighting in the PS3 a lot more. Original PS2/PS5 version is very dark. The remaster really brightened things up.
@@GamePrime99 exactly
I wish it was the PS3 version on the PS five
Wrong color and shadows*
PS3 version also has a ton of glitches, some visual, some audio related, and some are gamebreaking.
