Contra is a classic action game. Equipped with heavy artillery and infinite ammo, you must save the world by defeating the organization Red Falcon.
The authors have saved another 6 frames over their previous run ( tasvideos.org/4509M ) by destroying two pop-up walls in level 7 rather than jumping on them.

1988 is one of the strongest years of gamijg with real gaming classics like Mega Man 2, Final Fantasy II, Super Mario Bros. 2 & 3, Pac-Mania, Dragon Quest III, Contra, Ninja Gaiden, Dragon Warrior III, Ys II: Ancient Ys Vanished - The Final Chapter, Gradius II, etc.
