Hi Jaroslav, beautiful machine. I have small question according to steam handle... I have new Linea mini R. And the wand of steam handle opens a bit woobly. Do you have any problems with that handle with old linea? Thank you =)
subscribed, I don't think I've ever wanted to jump through the screen and consume something more....is that a short double? double ristretto? what ratio? is that cow's milk. 10/10!!!!
Hi Tristan, thank you! You’ll find all the answers to your questions in the description bellow the video, make sure to take a look. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment!
On how much bar did you set your steam boiler. seems like a lot lower than stock? mine is at 1.8 and milk is crazy fast.Too fast even done in 3 sec. hard to incorporate
I’ve mine set to 2 😄 You’ll get used to it after a while. I had it at 1.8 for a while but felt like it can do better at 2. That’s what 2 (or 3) group LM machines are set to anyways.
Not really, I had enough fun with it on the Silvia. The RS1 portafilter fits on the Linea as well, I simply prefer to use the spouted La Marzocco portafilter. But thank you for asking!
Hi Angel, thank you! By tradition, flat white is made with a double ristretto, double shot espresso would leave too little room for milk (making it a cortado). The cup is 125ml. Thank you for asking!
Are you using the pitcher included with the LM? How many bars of steam pressure is yours set to? I struggle to steam milk properly. Are you using the stock steam tip ?
Hi, thanks for asking! Yes, the included La Marzocco pitcher and mine is set to 1.7bar. I used to struggle when I got the machine, but I took an afternoon and practiced steaming just soap water. Try it a few times until you figure out what position of the steam tip and the pitcher works for you and try it with milk a few times. That helped me, I hope it helps you too!
Hi Bryan. It perhaps depends more on what tradition you follow. I like to follow tradition with a double ristretto in it. Thank you! It’s amazing, me too!
1 part coffee, 2 parts milk. But frankly, do whatever you like. It’s yours, you’re drinking it. There are do many ways to make coffee with milk, who am I to tell you what you should like 😊
@@Conan_1997 It helps to have appropriately sized cup. This is a 125ml Vero Cortado glass, next up is 175ml Vero Cappuccino glass. Both are good for flat whites, depending on the yield I take either. But I’ve also seen people pull a ristretto into a 350ml cup, fill it up with milk and call it flat white 😂
I think maybe you need to grind it coarser, with 36 seconds or more (since acaia starts timer after first liquid drop), you are probably extracting too long. The first couple drop indicates the puck resistance is too much, and eventually the puck gives in due to the pressure, which creates channeling. You can confirm this by using a bottomless portafilter, so maybe a bit of grind adjustment is needed.
Hi Kester! Thank you for the input, but I think I can decide best what recipe tastes best for me. Acaia scale starts from the frist drop only if you choose the right mode for it to do so. I start the timer together with the pump. I would recommend maybe take a look at some of my other videos and see if you really need to explain the obvious? Thanks!

Beyond beautiful and artistic ♥️
You 😏😘
Smoothly done
Thank you Nabarun, and thanks for watching!
That’s really nice well done!
Thank you!
So relaxing
That is the best color option for the LMLM, stainless steel. The white is trendy and won’t be timeless like the stainless.
I agree 😊
Nice!!
Thank you Sahand!

Congrats! No, nothing wobbly on mine. Rock solid machine.
@@Jaroslav. Thank you... will ask LM service technicians... =)
Hi, you pull the ristretto for 30 seconds, how long it usually takes you to get the espresso ?
Doesn't really matter how long it takes as long as it tastes good. Ristretto is a ratio thing, not a "recipe".
I don't drink flat white. I'm always in the simple espresso side, but this one, I would gladly taste it 🤙
Thank you! I’m also a pure espresso drinker. I’m doing these strictly for my fiancée 🙂
Very nice Jaroslav. Is that the Vero cortado glass?
Hi Jose, thank you! Yes, Vero cortado glass (125ml).

also , what beans?

@@Jaroslav. Thank you so much and Sorry for not checking before hand
No worries! I try to include as much information as I can under every video I post.
Excellent video. Which basket size did you use to fit the 18g of coffee? Thx
Thank you! Here I used the B702TH26.5M by IMS. Thanks for asking!
Which cups are those if i my ask?
Hi! That’s a Vero glass from notneutral and the dosing cup is from Acaia. Hope this helps!
@@Jaroslav. Thank you very much for your reaction. Keep up the good work and the nice videos.
Thanks!
Nice Video! Which scale do you use? I'm looking for a good acaia pearl alternative.
Hi Rocka, thank you! I'm using the Felicita Arc scale. Thanks for asking!
Very nice! What are you using to put the grounds in the porta filter?
Thank you! That's the medium dosing cup from Acaia. Hope that helps!
@@Jaroslav. thank you!!! :)

You thinking of getting a bottomless portafilter?

Why a double restretto vs a double shot? You find that is due to the cup you are using or because of the taste? Nice video btw!

What grinder is this?
Hi Tomasz, that was the Eureka Mignon Silenzio. Thanks for asking!

Oh and yes, the stock steam tip.
Traditional flat white is made with double shot btw - nice video. Ive had my mini about as long as you...love it!!!

So what’s the proper ratio for flat white please? 18 gm coffee, 36 gm yield? How about milk?
1 part coffee, 2 parts milk. But frankly, do whatever you like. It’s yours, you’re drinking it. There are do many ways to make coffee with milk, who am I to tell you what you should like 😊
