Let’s hide in the bathroom so we can stay past closing time!

every mall horror story:
I'm down for it
@ChevenNix right after I finish looking at the movies in SunCoast
Using the background pictures as lore:
Beginning of the video: hell yeah! It’s gonna be fun!
Middle-to-end of video: *something is wrong, we need to get out of here. Something is wrong, something is wrong, something is definitely wrong.*
person: So, what kind of music do you like?
me: Mall music, but mostly the mattress section.
This mix opened my shakras, aligned my joints and left me hydrated and moisturized. One of the best mallsoft mixes in TH-cam
This is the kind of music I would hope to be hearing if I were to go back in time to a mall in the 80's and 90's to go buy mint-conditioned, unopened and untouched NES and SNES games, maybe even some later systems and other platforms to boot.
Going to check out SunCoast then Kay-Bee Toys and finally I'll buy an Orange Julius smoothie before sitting down by the fountain
Love the way malls looked at night back then
man the more abandoned ones make me feel like I wanna cry. currently, I have a maths class once a week, which is at night in my nearest mall, and Im lucky enough to have the chance to walk around randomly a bit after it ends, when its all closed and dark but the music is still playing. nothing like this, mostly classic orchestra stuff but still. one time recently there were none of the security guards around so I walked right through it in the dark, so much fun
theres just something so relaxing about being in this big open place all alone. sadly though, I think it may not last much longer, there are often new stores popping up but a lot more closing, Im not sure. Im gonna miss this once my maths class is finished though
I know what you mean. I never have experienced this feeling other than in my dreams. And when I do experience it’s almost unbearably nostalgic and wondrous all at the same time. Like a endless maze of stores that span into infinity that we just wanna explore.
Lucky!
This playlist is great, does make me feel like I'm at the mall after hours. It's comfortable yet unsettling at the same time. :-)
Hey good to see you again btw :3
Was not expecting this to open up with CLOWN CORE... but it's amazing that they (of all people) wrote what is essentially the single most mall-shopper/hold-line/infomercial song ever lol
omg I didnt even notice that lmao
The best part is the track is titled "infinite realm of incomprehensible suffering"
The absolute unbridled talent of those lads - amazing
miss when malls were more fun back then. now everything is mostly online. love this!
I don’t really find these songs dark. I love them so much. I like to think of it as an old left behind mall trying its best to maintain normalcy. I like to think of myself wandering through the mall appreciating every detail. As if it’s alive.
Your description makes the mall sound like some kind of supernatural living entity who just wants to be loved by its inhabitants.
The cover picture of this video (song that starts at 22:03) is from the Regal Cinema, at Citrus Park, Tempa, Florida. You're welcome!
made a whole fanfic based on this thank you
Send me the link! I'd love to read it!
@@nightdriveprojects47 I’m not finished with it yet but I’ll def send it when I am >_
@@astraightmale Not sure what a fanfic is but if it accompanies a groove like this, I'm for it.

Don't worry, guys! It's almost morning. They'll open the doors soon.
Im absolutely loving The Oldest View type vibes of this playlist
bossa nova, mallsoft, limimal spaces & vaporwave aesthetics ≠ TOV
Mix starts with Clown Core’s one and only vaporwave track, lol nice
Well this is an interesting concept.
Let's just take a little listen...
I too love the concept
At first I thought the image at 17:26 bore an uncanny resemblance to my local dying mall. Then I realized that is exactly where it is from.
31:16 is a nice and creepy visual. Good job.
This is my 2nd favorite Vaporwave mix of all time now.. im not even joking. This is S tier work, and every single track brings me straight into my inner mind.
It's like the pictures and music go to the blank spaces in your mind trying to figure out what and where you where and if youve been to these places yn
this is my absolute favorite compilation of yours and i did not think it could get any better until endless savings. thank you
bro is selling his soul. like where do you get these tunes..???? why are they this good??
i didnt know i needed this, very very nice yo
my favorite mallsoft music in one convenient source
OK, found my new favorite channel, all your mixes are so good!!!!
Great playlist. Love the progression of the photos too.
Nice album mix :)
And I like the way the pictures melded with the tracks.
love the narrative concept
also interesting + atypical visuals for a mallsoft mix
i just got back from groceries shopping, listening to this from start to finish: no idea why i've never done this before! great, thanks!
bless this youtube channel man
amon tobin is a nice touch
Chords on the 2nd song are amazing
Very nice mix
Nothing like listening to overpopulation at the end of everything and noticing the letter-writing theme from Mother 3 in there.
p e r f e c t i o n
Awesome, deseves more views
The image at 10:14 is so creepy
Great visuals to go wtih eth mucis skcarT
Cool
cool
17:21 paired with that image is unreal
If you like this, you'll adore Jeff Palm Mall!
Pictures just get creepier as it goes...
The longer you stay, the more you will not be able to leave.
From 1:01:30 or so until 1:04:00 sounds like eerie ambient background noises you hear while wandering around an abandoned mall which turn out to be coming from Siren Head
I miss neon lighting
i agree
33:09 the song and the image has me trapped
20:11 ayyyyy thats the cincinnati mall, ive been there when i was the only 1 in there lol
I can't describe the feeling I get when listening to this music and imagining being in a mall after hours. Does anyone else feel the same? Is it some weird mix of comfortable nostalgia and loneliness?
That's called the feeling of liminality
@@str5128 Interesting. "a quality of being in between two places or stages, on the verge of transitioning to something new."
Maybe the transition is from people to no people? There's also this feeling I get that the people will never come back or that we will all die eventually.
17:21 - Nmesh - Nuthin' But A き Thang: Kenny G-Songbird (a distorted mix)
really does sound like mall muizak
i hear mother 3
Sesh Radio 46:00
infinity frequencies
mallsoft haha
serial killer music xD
