Hey guys.Sorry I missed it live.I was busy with work that I could not look away from and watch you guys but I'm catching it now.! I bet they'd sound wonderful through my JTM-45 offset!

Oh, they certainly do! At least they do through my custom handwired JTM45, which is very similar to yours. 😉
      Cheers,

The Jimmy Page wiring that Page never actually used . He never had that wiring untill after Led Zeppelin and he only put the Page wiring system in one of his backup les Pauls or what is called his number 2 les Paul and after adding the Page wiiring to his number 2 les Paul Page hardly ever used to guitar after that untill the 2007 Zep reunion and even then he used the guitar like it was wired nornally . All of Pages classic sounds were made with guitars that had stock wiring and electronics except for having to replace the bridge pickup in his number 1 les Paul in the spring of 1972 after it failed. He switched the original failed PAF for a Gibson early 70s Patetent sticker Pickup which changed his tone alot . His bridge pickup tone was alot cleaner and thinner sounding after that and had alot less grunt and growl .

That's interesting information. Thanks a lot! Yet it's called Jimmy Page wiring. However, I like some of the sounds you can get with it, mainly the out of phase ones, being it parallel or series. One of my favorites is the neck split, out of phase series. It gives a really nice quacky sound I enjoy a lot. It's funny, I called my guitars number one and two like JP, but that's not really on me. I'm not that huge a JP fan. I just used my first 335 almost 90% of the time, so I called it my number one go to guitar, and Lukas actually started to call it "your number one" when he was talking with me about my 335. So it gradually also got into my habit of calling it number one. So the obvious choice was then to call the backup number two.

    So #1 335 + #2 335 = an ES-670??

But only if you play them both at once. :D

    I should also add that I can't afford even one 335, never-mind a backup and a main..

The Studio ones are rather affordable in the US. I've seen them on reverb for about 1500 USD not too long ago. Those were the burst models though.

@@LMGuitarCorner That's actually a good bit more affordable than I'd thought, to be very honest..

I honestly think so too. A properly cut nut is all you need, and you won't have tuning issues ever, even with a suboptimal headstock like the Gibsons have. It may help with guitars that haven't got a really good cut nut, but then it's more like hiding a flaw than actually fixing it.
