Cat and Ed have done really well. They did not overreach themselves with huge renovations and with Ed's joinery skills they have a beautifully finished and practical home. The garden is charming.
Kat and Ed have a superb little flat, bright kitchen with french windows to the garden. What a great idea. Ed's become a dab hand at diy and the gardens beautiful. They made the most of what they had ....
Hope not just now as it's the middle of the night. But it reminds me I need a VPN so I can catch up on stuff from the last 2 months and the next 3.5months.
It feels good to get at least one room in order after a reno. I hope things settle down soon. I love blue and white so enjoyed seeing your purchases. Hang in there, pace yourself and don't wear yourself out!
You know the property bubble has gone too far when you hear prices from seven years ago and think "nice bargain" when in fact said prices were already inflated.
2009 episodes with 2009 prices, HOWEVER, my late dad was from Ealing, my late mom was from Chiswick and my BFF and I were born in Isleworth! All of my places in one episode. Funny they're posh now and expensive, when my parents came from poor parents. Moved away in 1964 but BFF is still there❤
I feel the same way, but my thought, that relationship de-solved. I felt the her fiance was not happy at all. The flat they chose was unrealistic, smaller than the 2nd flat, now they are engaged, look miser and bought a rundown home, where he doesn't want to get his hands dirty. There is trouble in paradise
After the obnoxious comment from this man calling his woman a dishwasher, I had to turn this episode off. I love Phil and Kirstie, but this man, just gave vibes I can't watch.

I love catching up with these home buyers it's great to see how they've progressed! ❤ XXX

Very fortunate young homebuyers to have Phil and Kristie's wisdom and help to get on the property ladder :)
Lovely to see the follow-ups.
What a great surprise!
Hope Phil's back to his usual, spritely self. x
We are just watching Phil in NZ on t.v. on our new builds & ronavations. We love him over here plus Phil loves our way of life

He's got an Aussie wife so he's well used to life in Australia and NZ.
What’s the name of the NZ show with Phil?

Watching from San Francisco. If I ever moved to London i would reach out to Kristie and Phil. Love this show
Really like these "revisits" to see what has changed, what hasn't.
Neither couple wanted to have children?? interesting it was not mentioned....
(I feel sad that many European couples are deciding not to have kids)
Oh - Sarah mentioned future children - Ok.
Oh the other couple mentioned having kids too - LOL.

I fell in love with Sarah, not wanting the fanatical open concept craze.
thanks, loved it

It's 2009. That's 15 yrs ago

I hope the couple who bought the new house with loads of reno are still together in 2024. The lady was a bit dominating. Lol
They did an update on them last year. They’re still together and they have a child.

Adore the revisits. Neither couple seems to have aged 😱 ah youth. 💋💋💋
Do not like UK people but really want to visit UK
Show Kat the second least expensive place in that ideal location. That way she would see that she can't afford anything in better shape.
👍👍👍

It was a joke, you have issues if you can't watch something for a little joke. How do you live, covered in bubble wrap?
@@ajb1876 jokes are meant to be funny. And it's about respect for the one you are with.
@Arcana888 humour is subjective, and his partner clearly didn't have any issues with his humour. She wouldn't have stayed with him for so long.
