At 4.10 safety chain connected to the same shackle as the winch strap. That gives a single point of failure for both. Better to connect the chain directly to the eye on the boat.

Watch out for filthy queensland cops who are now watching boat ramps and handing out tickets for no seat belt while pulling trailer up ramp.However they will never give someone any assistance.
