- It is very difficult to make an aquarium outside the workshop
300x60x50 cm aquarium, sub-sump, piping and work over and over to finish
Even though it was a tedious task to make an aquarium, to shoot videos while making it, and to have limited materials, the result made the aquarium owner happy.

This guy is pro among the pros. Never seen a tank being built in the house. The sump and the pvc fittings are 1st class.

My first thoughts exactly… weight is only supported by screws in the wood frame. Where are the wood supports transferring weight from the tank directly to the floor?

black silicone isn't too strong enough and can't last very long, be careful
I had a 9ft reef tank on a timber frame never again the creaks and noises out of it horrendous I put mine on concrete block ñow

What is the width and height of the aquarium ? And what is the glass thickness?
It seems like 300 cm x 50 cm X 50 cm. Thickness should be at least 12 mm, preferably 15 mm.
I have the same dimensions, but with 2x FX6 external filters.

I have a feeling that the owner of this aquarium will be more shocked when a serious leak will occur and suddenly there will several cubic meters of water on the floor of the room...
this isnt their first rodeo… and what difference does it make whether the glass is assembled in place or off site? In place seems safer as it is easier to handle and transport glass in sheets.
@@michaelc9310 What does it matter? Does the place of assembly somehow immunize against invisible defects in materials or the most common human errors?
Oak wood stand or steel is best for stands
