fifa and pes lost their souls somewhere 15-20 years ago when they finally stopped fundamentally improving the games. Up to this date I think that the best soccer games are Nekketsu Soccer League (1993) and Total Soccer 2000 (1999).
i always get a tear into my eye when hearing good music...and this one is no exception...it is one of those soundtracks that can never be beaten easy and tbh no game did...no matter how much graphics a game our days have they will never stop to think for a second about the gameplay....todays games are boring af
Back in a year 2000, I remember beating Nekketsu Soccer League, Nekketsu Ice Hockey and Nekketsu Slam Dunk for the first time and all within one week. Keep in mind I started playing those games 3-6 months before that. And everything ended up within that wonderful week. What I want to say here is that without magic soundtrack it would have been nothing. Epic tunes is one thing games and also movies are missing these days. GTA 5 was a breath of fresh air at least from the music point of view, but otherwise nowadays tend to be musically quite bankrupt.
