I think your videos are the best on you tube concerning abaqus, I really learned a lot. Just small piece od advice- maybe you could skip modeling and material property description in every video and perhaps just present it with few slides. That way you could give lot more time to explaining essence of the topic.
Thanks. In submodel, can I add a new part like steel circle and make a contact with existing hole to calculate stress in the new part of steel circle? Thanks
That was really helpful. Can you please give some advice in making change into a model after transferring the results. like removing some part of the model ( for example concrete fall off due to impact, while we are not interested to see impact and only wanna see how service level stresses change after removing some parts of the model). Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, great video Have you experienced with connectors ? i learned something from documentation. But still it is for me BLACK BOX. Can you recomend some tutorials
Thank you Thennavan Thenna. I watched some 'rcc pullout test analysis', but I cound not see people introduce and use contact element. Could you please help?
I have a model which includes some spring & dashpot and beam elements. I used also substructure in model. I want to extract reduced stiffness and damping matrix. How can I obtain? If you want, I will send ".inp" file.
Great tutorial. I have Ansys background, so I was looking for a video to get familiar with Abaqus submodeling. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!

will be so much interesting to see the difference in CPU cost between the different procedure
wow. Goog Job! This is very nice explanation. A LOT better than the official manual!
oh I was expecting that there will be Submodel tutorial2 as your last mention of the submodel with no boundary situation. ha.....
Well explained. Thanks for the nice tutorial. Could you please upload step by step procedure for friction steer welding and also Bearing Analysis.

Great job, regards.

Can we change the size of the circular hole in the submodel part and still use the outputs of main model on the boundary ?
Thank you
Your tutorial videos are very helpful.
Could you please make a video to show how to use CONTACT ELEMENT?
HAO LUONG any pullout test in reinforced concrete analysis....vedio
Thank you Thennavan Thenna. I watched some 'rcc pullout test analysis', but I cound not see people introduce and use contact element.
Could you please help?
@abaqus acumen can you please create a video tutorial of using abaqus topology optimization module (ATOM)
cheers
Nick
How can we run a static, Riks analysis in submodel?
Thanks!
Thank u very much

Can we do the same in optistruct or nastran?
How to write the coding in abaqus can you explain please? i want to give the variation in young's Modulus how it will possible?
any related vedio "rcc pullout test analysis in abaqus"
hi!
I could not find the second part of this video, Can anyone share the link?
We had not made it till date. It is on our list.
At what step we choose submodel type : Node based or Surface based? Can u plz tell
Arshdeep Singh Open the deck in textpad.. in the line *Submodel you can select Type=Node or Type=Surface
