Assalamualikum Dr. Ahmed. I am so happy with your course. Very informative and helpful. I have question about a reinforced concrete (truss for reinforcement and solid for the concrete). Suppose we need to make a sub-model from that model and cut through the model and apply sub-model boundary condition there, is the properties both of concrete and reinforcement are available in the sub-model boundary condition? since the truss element has no surface.
I believe wire elements are not supported by the submodeling command. See details here: abaqus-docs.mit.edu/2017/English/SIMACAEANLRefMap/simaanl-c-submodeloverview.htm

so we have to use Solid element as reinforcement. Oke jakazallah khair
