It's definitely a family farm! Sure teaches the kid's a work ethic, even baby Isabella is learning. Still super hard work caring for all your animals and then your family. Very, very admirable. It makes me wonder how many of your children will follow in your footsteps and want to continue in farming/homsteading. It is a noble cause and choice, one that will be much needed in the coming years as the status quo of farming is in my humble opinion, is going to change for the betterment of humanity and how we treat and raise animals. You all are doing a GREAT job!. God Bless your beautiful family.
I really love your videos and the family values that are taught there. Your children have such good personalities and nature and kindness & love for animals! It is clear that you have taught them how to be gentle not only was the animals but with each other. The little duckling at the end was so adorable and I loved how he just hopped right up into the nesting box as if he had been with the mama hen all along😊♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Greeting from London - 31 year old male giving thanks to your amazing content. I cannot own animals like you do but I've been following ever since you got Bamboo initially. Thank you for the consistency and stellar work rate.
Your kids are so lucky, growing up this way. Running through fields and mud, allowed to have two different shoes, animals everywhere.. my kids would love it and so would I ❤ the way you pick up Isabella is so cute. Lots of love from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
This is the first video I've seen of you guys and I love your adorable farm! My daughter actually gave me your name to watch. I didn't realize she watched farm videos, but she loves watching you guys.

Thank you for this video I thoroughly enjoyed it. Jake you know you guys are special to me. Even though we haven't met in person I feel like we're old friends by watching your videos the past five years or more. Watching the children grow up as well. Makes me feel like we're all family.
Loved seeing the many daily activities. So much changes from one season to another, one year to the next and here you are still putting positivity out there ❤❤❤
I’ve occasionally drop by to see your videos. I am bed ridden, on recovery , so watching them is a soothing and relaxing time. This one is all about flock management. I see how you regulate egg collections , water and food intake, partitioning your flock. Just curious , don’t you keep a posted chart somewhere in the barn or kitchen ?
I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and because of you guys, i finally push myself to take care some chickens because it has been my dream since I was a kid. I recently brought 3 Rhode Island chicks and hopefully I can ensure their growth up until they can lay some eggs and buy an incubator since it’s very interesting watching you hatch some eggs using it. Thank you for inspiring me and for making videos that can make me dream big and have a farm someday. God bless! 🫶🏻
People always has something to say about something because you don't have to explain to people about your cows looking skinny I love your farm life and you all take good care of all your animals. And all the kids even helps 👍🏾 🙏❤️
You guys have grown so much within the years and it's nice to get to watch you guys upgrading your farm I have one question thought my Flock of chickens have mites and I can't get rid of them do u guys have a tip
We always have the best luck just transferring them in the evening, onto the new roost. It also seems to help them really know where to go the next evening and saves on lots of chasing! Lol😂 your boys definitely have that party down! Good little chicken tenders!!!
My Indio gigantes were terrible at brooding their eggs. I lost multiple before they even hatched because of their natural fighting instinct, which would make the chickens fight for each other's eggs. Then I just stopped trying, but I'm glad you guys kept on trying and now you'll have a bunch of baby chicks!
Loved this video. Kids are growing up so fast. Birds are looking good and all those eggs in the incubators. Hopefully at least 1 emu egg hatches for you guys. Baby Mandarin duck is so cute. Can't wait to see your aviary done. Springtime is the best.

Another great video of a family working together with the land & animals. Thanks for taking us along again. Curious about what you do with the grass cuttings from the emus?
Im so glad then flow hives worked out for ya, i had no idea they'd be as effective as they turned out to be when i reached out a couple years back about them
Jersey cows also have really prominent hip bones, which stick out more than other breeds. I have a Jersey/Mini cross that everyone says looks malnourished because he his hip bones are always visible, but he gets hay and grain every day on top of free range to graze 20 acres of grass.
You might not see this comment but I hope others pass on the message! Emu's love water, especially when it's super hot outside. We have an Emu ourselves and purchase those little blue kiddy pools you can get, the plastic ones and he loves to dunk himself in. We clean it out every 2days. They also love being sprayed with a hose!
Kiddy pools work great for little emus… we used to do that. Then they got big and their toes rip right through every one. So no, kiddy pools don’t work for adult emus.
@@whitehouseonthehill Oh yes, those types of pools wouldn’t work. 🙈 The blue hard plastic ones work wonders! A lot of people also buy them for dogs because they’re hard plastic and don’t break as easy. May have to get one every year because the sun kills them but they’re great since claws don’t puncher them! 😂 Jerry; our emu, loves it. He also demands sprays with the hose! It’s so crazy to see the kids grow during these past few years! They’re growing so fast it’s wild!
