that was fun :-) I admit, I cried happy tears in that Dany ending. But I feel like I was the only one, haha. I just feel like she is doing such great things and giving hope to so many people! I love her so much!

Some people hated that ending because of the "white savior trope"...
I thought it was moving... A good palate cleanser after the Red Wedding... I prefer purple to red... Like Prince! Even though he had a little red corvette...
I mean of course it fits that trope, how would you feel as a racially homogeneous slave people if a white haired, purple eyed (in the books) woman showed up with three dragons and freed you? I wouldn't exactly blame them from thinking she was some kind of God.

The red wedding was definitely one of the highest points in S3, but when I think about seasons 1, 4 and 6, I immediately remember many great scenes. In season 3 it's the mutiny of the Night's Watch, Daenerys in Yunkai (I'm not sure about the spelling), the "no happy ending" scene with Ramsay, the chairs in the small council, Jaime's hand, the red wedding, Arya meeting the Houns again, Tywin vs Joffrey and the Mhysa scene. That's only 9 scenes from a whole season.

You didn't like anyone who died? Catelyn was one of the strongest female characters in the entire series. Like Brienne said she has a strength, not because of battle but just because she was a good and decent woman. Way better than the queens in my honest opinion. Another opinion: her downfall was because of Robb sadly. I appreciate different opinions but I didn't know many people who didn't at least like Catelyn Stark lol.
He does know they dont actually harm the horses right?
Season 4 is sooo much better. You should start watching the new season as soon as possible. In the meantime, would you say your favorite family?

Hi George! Just to put Cersei and Jamie's weird relationship into perspective....the Targaryns married brother to sister as well for generations hence Cersei justification of it....its still icky but Dany lucked out really, if things had been different she'd have been stuck married to her brother too!

There has been a little controversy surrounding having a friend with you for this reaction. Conner seems like a sympathetic fellow and I'd like to see him react. Well, Joffrey is right, Twyin did stay at Casterly Rock. waiting to the last moment of the war so he could choose to side with the winner. But of course, you can't talk to grandpa like that :) Especially to a grandpa who orders little girls and babies to be raped and brutally put to death, as his day job...

"Tywin always puts his house first" Indeed, still, he sat in his castle/palace until the the winning side was certain. I didn't say that Tywin is a coward for doing so, just mentioned the fact that Joffrey was right.
Well, ordering Elia and her kids to die is still murdering women and children. But I didn't even think of that... The mountain and his men were used a a terror group for the Lannisters. Tywin knew exactly what they do and he sends them to wrack horror and terror for that reason only, like he did in the river lands.
Joffrey doesn't know that his uncle is his father.
It's one thing to smells stinky horses and people (With oiled beards) around you. It's a different story when your're diving deep into a see of armpits at close range.

No, I didn't "admit" it, since Joffrey talked about Robert, not Jaime. That's the context. Joffrey's father in that conversation, as he knew him, was Robert. And he fought the war without Tywin. So Joffrey was right about that.
"why not have Cat and Talisa raped" Because he didn't. Because sometimes, it's not worth it and you need to know when it's time for horrors and when it's time for lesser horrors. But as I said, he knows what the mountain does and he keeps him for that reason. Does it matter if the mountain raped and murdered hundreds of peasant girls or One Royal girl? Tywin has a terror unit which he uses frequently to make sure people respect the Lannister name. Their tactics are mascaraing, raping and torturing to death and Tywin uses them when he thinks the time is right.
"i must have missed the part where the dothraki wore deodorant..." On special occasions, while near civilized cities, they wear silk cloths, oil themselves and put on perfumes. Only when they are riding and being themselves they go barely dressed and covered lightly with raw hide.
Regarding the mad king, that's a possibility, but Tywin never mentioned it.

You're right about Jaime. But the mad king could forced Twyin to join the fight. Or Tywin could offer to join on his own and help the mad king, out of mare fear for his son's life. If Tywin aided Rhaegar at the Trident, it could be likely that Robert would've lost and. But, Tywin didn't. Again, it's not like I blame him for thinking of his interests first and it's obviously not due to cowardice, but the bottom line is Joffrey was right: He didn't join the fight until the last moment, no matter the reason why. Was it smart not to join? Ultimately, yes. Still, that is what he chose to do and that is what his grandson reminded him of. No more, no less.

Well made drama will get you to cry for people you never really liked. There is no need to like or even know someone to feel compassion at some level. The mere exposure to the situation will do it and proper expression through staging, acting and music will make you feel truly sorry for Walder Frey's poor wife or even for that stupid dog in his box who never did anything worthy of notice. Yes, the dumb thing growled at Jaime once. Now it's gone and Jaime's back home ;-)

No, it is telling George how to make his reactions the way Harrison likes them....The whole beauty of You Tube is the variety. So instead of telling someone HOW to be. You should pick someone that is more like you. This kind of feed back amazes me..Missing dialog? We all have watched the show enough to know, every time you watch you learn something new....George is not missing a thing he won't be able to catch next time. I for one am looking for a reaction. I understand the concern about him missing something...but WE all missed stuff the first time around..Let it all be organic. That is all I am saying. :)

The Mhysa scene is a bit creepy, but overall great episode. And the next season is even better!
I found it disgusting. This image of the "benevolent tyrant come to help poor people" was the first time I seriously considered giving up on the show. I had various concerns about Daenerys before but they really made it look like she was going to become that well-meaning hero of the naive I hoped not to see in such a story.

Eh, I dunno. Talisa was boring, Catelyn was a judgmental cow and started most of the situation we're in now by grabbing Tyrion just on *Littlefinger's* say so of all people, and Robb thought he could break a promise and get away with it. At the end, you find that there was little lost there.
fotografo 42 I don't really like anyone who died either. Robb jeopardized the safety of not just his family, but his army. And the families of those men in his army. And the entire North. He did nothing to warrant devotion. Talisa was just there - neither good nor bad - just a slightly pretty face to distract a King (who, as son of Ned Stark, should have honored his word to the Freys). But he couldn't do that, and she was just fine as long as she got to marry a King. And Cat is a bitch. A woman who swore to the Old Gods that she would love Jon, then didn't. No matter what she thought Ned did, Jon was a baby when he came to Winterfell. An innocent baby - not unlike Tyrion in many ways. And she, instead of taking out her insecurities to Ned, took them out on a child. That type of character doesn't channel devotion either. The only death I did genuinely care about was that of Grey Wind. The shocking thing of the episode to me was the breaking of guest rights- the death of the entire army, and all the ramifications caused by this betrayal. So George isn't alone in this, and I know there are plenty of others who feel the same.
This is my opinion of course, but he was right not to really care about the people like he does Dany. So he has characters he enjoys, and others he doesn't. Doesn't everyone? That is no reason to stop watching or to unsubscribe. Just my opinion of course.

You don't "understand" the show if you didn't like Robb? Look, that group of Starks made it hard to like them. Robb was dark and brooding (and not in a good way) and pissed away his war. Cat I liked at some points, but she was harshly judgmental, unforgivably hard on Jon, and she betrayed Robb for her own selfish ends. Talisa was just never written well enough to seem interesting. It was shocking, but I wasn't torn up about it or really sad to see that plot thread come to an end.
