Hmm, what do you mean by HIPAA compliant? HIPAA requires a BAA (business associate agreement) between the provider and the email provider (or host) in order to be "compliant". If you are referring to end-to-end encryption there are options to integrate that into most email providers. Gmail has a "Confidential" message option that allows you to set expiration time as well as encrypt the message and block forwarding, etc.
