As a more user friendly alternative to the plaster may I suggest Scenic Compound from Geek Gaming scenics.
I've been building and making models for over 45 years, but I'm new to model trains, so I've been watching a variety of channels. Recently I've been watching Boomer Diorama, I thought I knew a lot about scenery building, but I learn something in everyone of his videos I watch.
