This windows 11 installation requires 64GB of internal hard disk. Do I need to use Disk Utility in MacBook Air m1 to create a 64 GB partition in my MacBook internal hard drive before installing windows 11 ? OR does the VMware Fusion automatically create such a partition in the internal disk drive of the MacBook? What software would you recommend for making a backup of Windows 11 in case it crashes? Time Machine cannot handle windows backups. Thank you and may God bless you for your great help to others.

Hey I actually tried this on the exact same Mac mini m2 8gb ram 256 ssd. One issue is that the VM takes a lot of storage around 1/4 of the internal storage. For games it’s not great as there is latency. For work I think this will work well, I set mine to 6cores and 5GB RAM and it worked well, just macOS was a bit slow when VM was running

I have a licensed version of VMWare on a MacBook Pro (intel) chip and wanting to create VM for ARM but I don't get option to download Microsoft after selecting "create VM from custom" option ... is there another location I can download the Windows 11 ARM version?

The performance comes down to your CPU and RAM

My understanding is that you can't run ARM VMs on intel chips.
Just curious, what system were you using, is it m1 or m2 and how much RAM did it have? because the minecraft performance was quite good

after download complete, there is an ESD file, But Iso isn't made
