Yet again another amazing video!! Kind of ironic I watched this one. Yesterday I was working with my one year old lab and after throwing countless toys with little success I noticed that he would only fetch one toy. It took a little thought but I noticed that the only toy he wanted to fetch resembled a real animal. Living in the middle of a city dead animals are hard to come by but after a bit of work (with the help of a pellet gun)I downed a squirell. As soon as he saw it he retrieved 60+ times
I really enjoy your videos and was wondering if you recommend following the Wolters method. I've done some research on books and talked with some Waterfowl and Upland hunter friends about their methods and what their dogs lack. Was wondering if you could recommend a good book on FF and maybe another book that is comparable to "Gun Dog" not using the FF methods. Probably not getting a pup until after this years duck season so I figure I might as well bone up on as much training info I can.
