These are all excellent but I particularly want to single out 10 no 4. Most people play it so loud and fast that the sound is muddy, regardless of whether the notes are accurate. This rendition positively sparkles

If Nelson was not a friend of Martha Argerich j sincerely that N Frère would be less well known ; great pianist but he is not alone , many pianists are great : how many recordings are of Chopin-studies ? J prefer Vladimir Aschkenasy recording 1958 .
