    Kasia made the right move. Gotta go early if you are not a sprinter.

      And/or if you're not very strong in general.

    Grace has always been an outstanding rider, now a legend.

      A legend??? Because she won one race... ? Please. Mariana Vos is barely a legend... and she's been killing it for years.

      Good god there’s always some dickhead who doesn’t know how to allow someone to make a compliment. And if you think Vos is barely a legend, then you’re delusional as well an ass.

      @@Big_Island_Boi Marianne Vos barely a legend? what are you smoking?

      @@cyclismo123 I'm just spitting facts. As your average random person around the world if they've ever heard of Lance Armstrong... and then ask them if they've ever heard of Marianne Vos. To be a "legend" people have to have actually heard of you. Most people on the planet have never heard of Marianne Vos and couldn't pick her out of a photo line up of 5 women. And that's largely because women's "pro" cycling is so LAME.

      @@Big_Island_Boi hahaha don't get me wrong Armstrong is a legend, but I don't think lack of general public notoriety is a factor in determining an athlete's legendary status. Would be surprised if 10% of the world population have even heard of Eddy Merckx but he's clearly a cycling legend.
      Women's pro cycling isn't lame - it's been much more interesting than the predictable nature of the men's this year

    Yes, good that women's cycling is so competetive. One doesn't know who will win.

    Trek kind of gave away the race. They have to take charge of these races and stop the chicken games with SD Worx. How did they allow Brown and Chabbey in the break and gave them 3 minutes with 30 kms to go? If everything was controlled there would be a head to head battle between ELB, Kasia and Demi. And ELB looked the strongest. She stood a better chance of winning that way

    • @andrasszabo1570
      @andrasszabo1570 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Brand was also in the front group. She was a realistic option from the break, although it's likely true that Elisa was their best chance even then.

    • @francistumwesige1028
      @francistumwesige1028 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There was no way Brand would stay with Chabbey and Brown on those climbs. Brown already had 2 second places in this race. From the outset Brand had zero chance.
      Another channel Lantern Rouge has a name for it; representation fallacy. Feeling represented in the front group when in fact the rider there has no chance. Trek the men's team did the same mistake at Amstel with Mollema. I like the way Emirate and Alpecine ride. One leader and taking control the whole day. No claims of having riders in the break.
      Still, Brand dropped out early along with Mischa. But still Trek and SD did not start working until Trek realised too late that SD were never going to work for Vollering

    • @francistumwesige1028
      @francistumwesige1028 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is also becoming clear SD no longer want to work for Vollering. Trek needs to forget about SD and take charge of these races.

    Wtf was Vollering doing there in the back? Why wait so long if you have great legs? Did she underestimated her opponents? Just a bit to late on the pedals, this is racing…
