I've had nothing but good experiences with Taurus, my first handgun in like 2003 I believe , was the pt111 millennium pro , 9mm was DAO model, around same time I got one of their 38.spc revolvers, Great gun I also got a g2c (Stryker fired) in 2016 and all 3 were used , and abused for many years , didn't have any major problems our of a any of em ! Thanks for sharing! I'm thinking about getting the full size g3 soon! Much love and respect man always great content!
Ten days short of one year ago I watched this video for the first time. I was impressed by the review and shooting abilities of you and your son. Well so much so that last week I bought one for myself. Mine is the black finish as that was the one the store had and it came with a store coupon and a rebate form. After taxes and instant check fee,the resulting price will come out to under $250.00 after the rebate check. You are an enabler. LOL. Thanks for the great videos as usual.👍👍
Just picked up a Taurus G3C at my local pawnshop. Just love this gun. I remembered this video and after thinking about it went bad to the pawnshop and picked it up. So glad I did. Shoots and handles great.
Excellent choice. Yes, this really is a great little pistol and Taurus really has a winner with this one. Thank you for the feedback Lucus....I really appreciate it.
Very nice presentation guys. I've been looking at the GX4 but frankly there is something about this pistol that has attracted me for about a year or basically since it was introduced. I'm coming to the realization that my initial feeling about the 3. Are probably correct. Once the price of ammo got higher I opted-in on the TX 22 and have never been happier with a 22 caliber. In over 1000 rounds fired it's never missed a lick for me. I do keep it very clean, well lubricated and smile at it at least once a week, 😃
I'm not sure if Taurus could possibly improve on the G3 pistol and I'm really glad I picked this one up. I own a handful of .22 pistols, including S&W, Ruger and Browning, but I always seem to grab the Taurus TX22 when I head out into the hills. Maybe it's time to do another video on my TX22....just for the fun of it.
@@mixup98 I believe that would be great my friend, I'd love to see it !! I went to the range 0a bit ago with other shooter friends with all sorts of guns, together about every brand and caliber you could shoot a stick with, but all I brought was my TX 22 since I knew what fun it would give me. I brought about 8 to 10, 21 round mags with me. Before I knew it everyone was putting their arms away and had grabbed a mag to make it their very own fun stick. I'm not positive but I think that was likely my last rounds fired that day. They absolutely had a ball. It was very nice to see. I only made 2 mistakes, 1) I should have assigned one of them to gun cleanup and lube duty in advance and 2) I was the only one that brought 22 caliber ammo, about 500 rounds and went home with none 😣...😲 (I loved it... good friends, eye and ear protection, targets and ammo but... no orange soda !
I've been watching your videos for a few years now I love your channel I have quite a bit of experience with Taurus G series handguns over the years I've owned alot of them they are excellent handguns the price is cheap but the handgun is quality and most importantly reliable, it a great option for anyone.
I recently bought a Taurus G3c. It came with 3 mags of 10 rounds each. I've put only about 150 rounds through it. I love it. Yes, I'm a first time gun buyer. I have no problem loading, shooting, and cleaning it.
As a first time gun owner you sure made a good choice with the Taurus G3c pistol. Thank you for the comment Richard and we appreciate you watching our video.
I've been looking at this one for over a month and I'm going to go ahead and buy it at the beginning of August and I'm glad you did a review on it I'm excited for it to be my first handgun to use for home defense and more importantly recreational at target ranges.
I had Taurus 24/7 pro it was as good as any gun made today .I shot over 5 thousand rounds through never failed I ve shot a lot of Tauruses they treated me better than most brands have that costed 2 and 3 times as much
I just picked one up today at my local gun shop! And I’m in love with it! The quality, the craftsmanship, and most of all the price at $260 it was a no brainer for me!
My G3c is black. Polished the chamber ramp feed and exterior of the barrel. It's pretty. Im old & its my edc. 45 colt was getting heavy. It's a hell of a gun.
Again thanks for a great video, I've said before that I'm envious of your beautiful location, and the drone view makes it all that more inspirational. They get a bad wrap, but I like my Tauruses, don't let them fool you.....
I like many of your videos -- I got this from Scheels ( just blk and only 2 mags tho ) on sale for 229.99 PLUS a $30 mail in rebate so actually 199.99 I trust you and just a couple others for great honest reviews. I bought a couple of others you have tested. I have heard nothing but good of this G3C and cant wait to shoot it for first time. Thanks
Hello Gary. I'm glad to hear that you got a G3c for $199. I have a feeling you are going to be impressed with this pistol but please let us all know your opinion after shooting it. As you probably know I own the G3, G3c and the G3x pistols and they really are great pistols. I appreciate the great comment and I hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
I purchased a G3C for my first fire arm and love it! I’m from Nevada as well and moved to GA 2 years ago. We’re allowed to conceal carry out here now even without a permit so I use it as my EDC. 👍🏾
The first one was the PT-111G2c, and I still have it. I have a Sig 226 18 rd. mag in it. 18+1 , and the slide locks open on last round!, Added night sights and a steel recoil spring. 100% still from day 1. Drone footage is very , very cool ! Nice surprise.
Noticed that when you thought you had 4 rds but only fired 3 it was because one was chambered and ejected before you fired. Thanks for another good video!
I got it about a year ago. I really like it. Fun to shoot fits really nice in my hand. I have put a lot of rounds through it without a problem. I trust it! I am a big S&W Shield guy but this Taurus is a good gun
@@bryanperez2516 rite. People act like just because it's not expensive only poor people buy them. I got way more expensive guns but I really enjoy my g3c and the gx4. Matter of fact it's one of my edc rotation guns
I've never been a 'Taurus-basher' in fact I love this gun so much, that after buying one a few months ago, I went back to the same gun shop, and bought a second one! (a 'green' one!).... It's a perfect fit for my hand, is super-easy to rack the slide, and is now my EDC.. I can actually shoot this one very accurately. For some reason, I cannot with my Springfield XD's (too big for my hands?)... I've had a Taurus .38 +p for 20+ years; it too has been flawless.... I love your channel and I am always amazed what great shots you and your son are!
I have, or have owned, five Taurus firearms and every one has been reliable and very well made and I will carry my G3c in my truck as a backup when I'm out in the hills. My son and I thank you for the nice compliment and we also thank you for always watching our videos.
Taurus has had several semi auto pistols. The PT-111 Millenium Pro,then the G2,then the G2C & now the G3C.They also had the 24/7 series,PT-709 Slim & now the G2S & GX4.Taurus also had the hammer fired 800 series & now the TH series. The G3 & G3C easily seem to be the best out of the bunch.I don't have any experience with the GX4 so I can't comment on it.
Love your video’s. Beautiful scenery and no profanity or posturing. You give good honest reviews m, warts and all. You like all types of firearms like myself. I also love your use of “Improvised Targets” the most fun I ever had shooting was going out with my dad and brother to the old strip mines before everything was reclaimed and cleaned up. Tons of old, rusted junk to shoot at. The Good Old Days. When ammo and firearms were plentiful and reasonable. I hope those days return soon. But, I fear they may be gone forever. Let’s hope not. Thank You.
I literally just got home from purchasing my first. Great and informative video. Extremely helpful for individuals like myself that are still inexperienced
I love your honest and simple reviews. I have not had any Taurs guns, most of them are not on the approved roster in my state yet. you have one of the best shooting locations I have seen as well. That poor old truck makes a great backdrop for your shooting videos.
I love having that old Dodge truck in my videos but unfortunately it is sitting on public land here in Nevada and I'm afraid someday it will simply disappear.
I had plenty of bad luck with Taurus autoloaders and gravitate toward their revolvers. But the G-series is the exception. Great fit and finish. For the cash you are paying, its hard to beat this twelve-shooter.
I have owned dozens and dozens of auto loaders over the last four decades and I am honestly impressed with this Taurus pistol. Taurus really hit a home run with the G series, especially with the G3c 👍🤠
I have the G2C and the G3 they both shoot perfect People complained about the trigger and the G2CI have no problems with it Your video proves there are good peace good video
Wow, excellent video! I loved that you gave the gun plenty of time close up to show off that nice stainless slide and all the little details 🔥 great music choices and those drone shots were a great touch. I am in the market for a budget conceal carry and this might be the one!
Good morning bmav007 and thank you for the nice feedback. I can honestly say that I am extremely impressed with the Taurus G3c pistol (no, Taurus did not pay me to say that) and I highly recommend it for someone looking for an inexpensive but reliable pistol. I carry mine in my truck as a back-up and I wouldn't hesitate to use it to protect myself or my family.
I recently bought the G3C for the very features you show in this video: restrike/dryfire capability, manual safety, easy to rack slide, easy to operate slide release, comes with 3 mags, glock compatible sights, and EDC size. But what I discovered AFTER I'd already spent my $$$ on it is this particular firearm will not reliably feed any hollow point ammo with a larger diameter opening in the end of the round such as Sig Saur Elite Performance 124gr JHP which is specifically what I wanted to run in it. The round gets caught on the bottom edge of the feed ramp. Just giving everyone a little heads up. Otherwise, it's a great EDC.
I did shoot some hollow point ammo in this video but all of it was 115 grain and it was flawless. I don't usually shoot anything over 115 grains in my 9mm pistols but if I can find some heavier rounds I will do another review and see how the pistol performs. Thanks for the info.
You're right. It is indeed a really good looking gun. By the way, the music selection in this video is really working and the drone sequences looked really good.
Another great video! Its fun watching the relationship you and your son have filming these videos! I just bought a G3C and was excited to hear it came with 3 clips. Unfortunately, I only got 2 clips in my box when I opened it. I'll have to make a call to my retailer. You guy's make some incredible video's together and have fun doing it! What I really enjoy about your videos is the "Old West scenery." Maybe in one of your episodes we can see the Lone Ranger and Tonto appear! Lol Thanks guy's for the gun enthusiasm!!!!
I love making my videos with my son and I am truly a lucky man to have such a great son. I checked the Taurus website and the G3c is still shipped with three magazines, so yes, definitely call your retailer. I loved reading your comment and it made my day. Thank you!
@@mixup98 Your welcome. I called my retailer and he said that particular model G3C only comes with 2 clips. I guess I'll have to give Taurus corporate a call. Lol

I Love Guns. All kinds of guns. The best thing to me is when you can get a good gun at a good price. Taurus’s are still fairly reasonable and seem to be improved. I have one of their 1911’s that I bought used for a steal. Made a few upgrades that weren’t necessary but I wanted them. It’s been a very good gun.
Great video on this pistol! I have the same one but the full size and LOVE IT! I have well over 2k rounds and not a single issue.. it’s my edc and probably will be for the foreseeable future.. thanks 🙏 for doing this, just sorry I didn’t see it sooner
I have a Judge with over 2000 shotshells through it. No issues. A revolver but still. I heard years ago they weren't reliable, but everyone I know that owns one says the opposite.
I still have and carry my PT111 G2 and it's still perfect, not one malfunction in all of these years. I did replace the plastic firing pin guide with the lake line SS replacement and that smoothed out the trigger big time.
This is my EDC pitsol and for good reason. One, it IS reliable and accurate and twelve round magazines are adequate for me, and two.......if I am ever in a self defense shooting, Heaven forbid, the police ARE going to take your firearm away from you until they determine that you are not a mass murderer and they will not treat your personal property the way that, oh.....say......some of you bestow the amount of love and care that you and I do to our personal property, you know, maintaining its monetary value, not beating it up because you don't give a shit, the Taurus G3c fits the bill exactly. No, I do not want anybody beating up/abusing my personal property.....however, this is one gun that fits the bill for me. It is insanely affordable for the quality you get, it IS accurate, it IS reliable, it IS very shootable, I thought when I purchased it that it was going to be very snappy in the hand due to its small size.......it is not. It is very shootable. And for a compact 9mm that comes with three 12 round clips.......:-} :-} :-}, just kidding !!!! Uh, three 12 round BOX magazines. :-}, :-} [ Couldn't help myself.....] it fits my bill exactly !!! Can't say enough good about this offering from Taurus ! Signed, Doug.
I love my G3C, glad I watched your video and many more before my purchase. I went with the stainless top slide. Many people say the Matte black gets scuffs from the holster.
Good choice. I really like the stainless slide on mine. I just picked up a Taurus Spectrum and I will be doing a video on it when it warms up a little.
I to own the Taurus G3C and I love it. A fine gun with no flaws. Had it for about a year now... I just purchase the HK- VP9 and let me tell you. They are one of the best 9mm out there.
Taurus has been making great pistols ever since their PT111 Millennium G2 came out. It is the immediate predecessor to the G2c and G3c. I have one and love it. I just ordered a G3C to add to my Taurus collection. Their revolvers have been great quality for a couple of decades, at least. Let the gun snobs overspend.
I totally agree and I liked the G3c so much that I also bought the G3x 9mm pistol. I also just picked up a Taurus 2" stainless Model 856 .38 Special and I absolutely love it, and I will be doing a review on in in the near future.
I like all three of the pistols but my personal favorite is the g2c. It's the second generation pistol, first to be assembled in Bainbridge Ga. With the g3c, they refine a little bit more outside. The g2c has fully adjustable sites for windage and elevation.. The G3c only have sights for windage although, Glock compatible. I did put fiber optic sites on my g2c. But they're really just charging a few more $ for serrations up front and squared it off a little bit. If you want the most from all models install : Stainless steel guide rod, SS striker guide, and fiber optic sights from lakeline LLC and a molon lobe metal backplate from Makershot. With all mentioned upgrades I have a new g2c W/ total price of $322.
I also looked at the G2c before buying my G3c but I didn't care for the plastic adjustable rear sight on the G2c. I personally prefer non-adjustable steel sights on a self defense pistol. The G3 comes with three magazines where the G2 comes with two magazines. The trigger was also changed slightly on the G3. I like your suggestion on the upgrades and I will look into them. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment on my video.
@@mixup98 Hey thanks for replying. You are right about the extra mag, trigger, steel sights. Steel sights are the minority on the g3c I've seen. Sorry, I kinda forgot about the option. I have lakeline steel sights now. They are fiber optic too. Installed myself. A few tweaks with a rat file and blue loctite necessary for permanent hold. I've had new sites on for almost a year. My groups at 31 ft went from 3 inches, to one hole group with all 12 shots ( yes 12)in the 10 and 9 ring on. I love this pistol. Oh, that stainless striker guide really helped my smooth my trigger. You really need to go to Lakeline site. Great products. So much in fact that Taurus backs them in their website shop site. 25$ for ss guide rod ,$16 for ss striker guide, and $30 for steel fiber optic sites with 3 colors included. Yellow, red, and green. You choose your setup. Please check it out. You're a smart man. Thanks again for replying. From KY, until next time.

Another great father and son video!
That drone overhead shot of the shaving cream was cool.
@@bigdipper7325 No orange soda? You don't know what you are missing! Seriously, it sounds like you guys had fun and that is what life is all about.
I've been watching your videos for a few years now I love your channel I have quite a bit of experience with Taurus G series handguns over the years I've owned alot of them they are excellent handguns the price is cheap but the handgun is quality and most importantly reliable, it a great option for anyone.
👍🤠 👍😎
Good choice grimsdottir and congratulations on your first defensive handgun....you won't be disappointed.
They are good guns. I got a hits arms laser bullet in my G2C, it makes dry fire practice so fun.
I had Taurus 24/7 pro it was as good as any gun made today .I shot over 5 thousand rounds through never failed I ve shot a lot of Tauruses they treated me better than most brands have that costed 2 and 3 times as much
I carry a G2c and have the G3 full size at the bed side. I really like these pistols.
You are well protected my friend.
I just picked one up today at my local gun shop! And I’m in love with it! The quality, the craftsmanship, and most of all the price at $260 it was a no brainer for me!
My thoughts exactly. It really is a great pistol, especially for the price.
@@mixup98 I was between this Taurus and a used Glock 19 gen 5 Taurus was $200 cheaper 😁
My G3c is black. Polished the chamber ramp feed and exterior of the barrel. It's pretty. Im old & its my edc. 45 colt was getting heavy. It's a hell of a gun.
I love all my taurus guns, never had any issues
The first one is the pt111 millennium. And it’s been my EDC for years I haven’t had a single issue with it.
fantastic video! Well done! Love the drone shots. Great review of that Taurus G3C! You can't go wrong with one of those!
Again thanks for a great video, I've said before that I'm envious of your beautiful location, and the drone view makes it all that more inspirational. They get a bad wrap, but I like my Tauruses, don't let them fool you.....
Taurus has come a long way over the last five or six years and I've really been impressed with the three Taurus handguns I now own.
Thanks for the great review, as always. I love my Taurus G2 model. I’ve put hundreds of rounds through it and it has never misfired.
Thanks for the feedback on your Taurus, Tim 👍🤠
I have the exact same gun the G3C stainless! Really hard to find em in stainless I bought first one I saw. Was really happy they come with 3 mag's.
The gunshot sounds recorded in this vast place are fantastic to hear
Love the Father and Son duo… having the same hobby and enjoying quality time👍
I like many of your videos -- I got this from Scheels ( just blk and only 2 mags tho ) on sale for 229.99 PLUS a $30 mail in rebate so actually 199.99 I trust you and just a couple others for great honest reviews.
I have a G2C , used to be my daily carry. Still love the gun!!!
The new CEO of Taurus is doing a hell of job! They have come a long way in quality!
Yes they have!
Thank you for the drone feedback and maybe I will use my drone in more of my videos.
Noticed that when you thought you had 4 rds but only fired 3 it was because one was chambered and ejected before you fired. Thanks for another good video!
You're right....👍😁
I got it about a year ago. I really like it. Fun to shoot fits really nice in my hand. I have put a lot of rounds through it without a problem. I trust it! I am a big S&W Shield guy but this Taurus is a good gun
Taurus is a Brazilian factory, if I'm not mistaken it is the leader in small arms sales in the world
I've been looking at getting one! I shot my friend's TH9 and I was honestly impressed. Taurus seems to be cleaning up their act!
Love the drone footage.
You are the best Guntuber.
Thank you DeLaRicci....my son and I appreciate the great compliments.
Sharp shooter and a pilot.... nice job fellas
Thank you JJoker69 👌😁 😎👍
I carry a Taurus G2C as my carry weapon, I honestly trust my life to this handgun. Poor mans glock?
A poor man's Glock is right !!
I'm not a poor man and I trust my life with my g3c
Poor mans glock I wouldn’t go that far
@@bryanperez2516 rite. People act like just because it's not expensive only poor people buy them. I got way more expensive guns but I really enjoy my g3c and the gx4. Matter of fact it's one of my edc rotation guns
More like a shield
Good job on the music during the close ups. The gun speaks for itself.
Thanks for the great feedback Tom 👍🤠
Taurus has had several semi auto pistols. The PT-111 Millenium Pro,then the G2,then the G2C & now the G3C.They also had the 24/7 series,PT-709 Slim & now the G2S & GX4.Taurus also had the hammer fired 800 series & now the TH series. The G3 & G3C easily seem to be the best out of the bunch.I don't have any experience with the GX4 so I can't comment on it.
Great video. The shooting the shaving cream video over head was awesome
👍😎
Nice drone shots. Those were fun to watch.
Taurus has come a long way even new 856 line revolvers awsome ...I own G3c and 856 money well spent!!!😀❤❤❤
I also own an 856 and it's actually one of my favorite revolvers. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment on our video.
Great to hear and thank you for watching my video. Be safe and enjoy your new firearm.
Badass shots with the drone!!! You guys should do this all time. I thought it was super cool! 👍
Thanks for the feedback Travis....we will try to use the drone more often in our videos.
Love the drone footage. Especially the shaving cream scene lol. You guys sure know how to have fun awesome job as always guys.
Yes we do and thanks for the great comment Michael.
Loved the Taurus. Great little gun.
The drone shots were awesome. 🙋♂️🇬🇧
Thank you Mike 👍😎 👍🤠
I had plenty of bad luck with Taurus autoloaders and gravitate toward their revolvers. But the G-series is the exception. Great fit and finish. For the cash you are paying, its hard to beat this twelve-shooter.
I have owned dozens and dozens of auto loaders over the last four decades and I am honestly impressed with this Taurus pistol. Taurus really hit a home run with the G series, especially with the G3c 👍🤠
I have the G2C and the G3 they both shoot perfect People complained about the trigger and the G2CI have no problems with it Your video proves there are good peace good video
I found the trigger no different than any other medium size striker fired handgun and we both loved shooting this nice little pistol.
Great review! Love the terrain where you guys are shooting. I keep expecting John Wayne & Audie Murphy to ride up on horseback. 👍
@@mixup98 You're welcome, sir.
You're right. It is indeed a really good looking gun. By the way, the music selection in this video is really working and the drone sequences looked really good.
Nice! We really appreciate the feedback on the music and drone scenes. 👍🤠
Lol
@@humanityrising9378 I also bought one and it only came with two magazines. The label on the box did say 12X2 so Im a little confused.Everywhere I check it says 3.I may call Taurus and ask about it.I did order 2 extras from the website though.
@@markevans6325Yeah, after I looked at the outside of my box it said 12 × 2 also, so my retailer was correct. Thanks for the reply!
The 1st Generation was the PT-111 Millennium Pro. I had a couple in .40 cal about 15 years ago.
I am super impressed with Taurus right now, and have been for the last few years.
Same here and I hope to make a video where I review all four of my Taurus pistols at the same time.

Great video! Good to see they’re making at least a few reliable guns.
Another great video, thank you for taking the time to make it!👍🏼
Thank you aplong1911 👍🤠 👍😎
6:27 love those drone shots .... nice job.
Thank you John B.
Thanks for sharing with us. I like that you were testing budget guns even before the current gun & ammo craziness. The drone footage is pretty cool.
Thanks Chris. My son and I will be testing another budget friendly firearm, a.45 ACP carbine, in the near future....stay tuned.
Looking forward to it. I don't see many .45acp rifles or carbines around, I like learning about guns that fly under the radar, so to say.
I have a Judge with over 2000 shotshells through it. No issues. A revolver but still. I heard years ago they weren't reliable, but everyone I know that owns one says the opposite.
I used to own a Judge .410 but I traded it before I could do a youtube video on it. Wish I still had it.
I still have and carry my PT111 G2 and it's still perfect, not one malfunction in all of these years.
I did replace the plastic firing pin guide with the lake line SS replacement and that smoothed out the trigger big time.
I will have to take a look at the Lake Line SS sleeve....thanks for the suggestion.
Second time watching your Lucky to have a nice place to shot. And you and son special my dad's been gone 20 years ago.
Love the drone footage! 👍
Bloody hell those drone shots are really good shows of the desert i wish i could have a go with that pistol
I have heard a lot of good things about the VP9 and hopefully I can review one in the future.
Awesome video , Taurus got there quality control down of late i have the same model but in a .40 with the stainless slide.
From KY, until next time.
nice review. background music fit well. never had a Taurus b4. looks like a nice little economic pistol.
Thanks for the feedback on the background music. I now own 3 Taurus firearms and I'm impressed with each one of them. Maybe I'll do a Taurus handgun review and show off all three of them in the same video.
