    Go get a can of non chlorinated brake cleaner or parts cleaner. Take off the hose and spray cleaner into hose and top of can. Rinses the stuff out no problem. Cleaner smells like acetone. Super easy trick to make the straw and can reusable.

    I’ve found that if you bend and flex the straw it will separate the foam from the inside of the straw and pulling the trigger will push that plug out.

    If I use this stuff to sandwich corrugated polycarbonate roof panels cross sectional in a matrix and then fill the edges solid what kind of adhesion and dilapidation can I expect in the Florida Sun, wind and rain over time?

    Hey ...
    Have an old home here with "lathe and plaster" construction of the interior walls that was rewired back in '05. However some of the (blue colored) plastic electrical outlet boxes have become loose and are literally almost falling back in or coming out of the hole in the wall when plugging in or unplugging devices from them.
    I found that the boxes were never secured to a stud as I thought the electricians did. And were merely stuffed construction paper to act a filler and then applied some plaster mix "mud" around the boxes to try and hold them in place which is now failed.
    Think this LOCTITE foam is a strong enough sealant to hold these outlet boxes if I spray it all around them?

      oh yeah! i believe this would work great, just wear gloves because its a mess getting it off and its so sticky and remember it will expand so spray a bit wait a min or two spray more ect and keep an eye on it but it will work good

    What do you to to keep the straw clear after you're done? Mine keeps sealing and I have to buy another can everytime I use this.

    • @Wengertime89YT
      @Wengertime89YT  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      so the Easiest way to fix this is, after use, wrap the tip with a paper towel then when you want to use it again come back and cut just the tip of the straw off where its hard

  • @captinbeyond

    Is there anyway to clean out the plastic tube so you can re-use this or is it one time and done? It seems like a good product, but hard to pay that much for one time use.

    • @Wengertime89YT
      @Wengertime89YT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      so it turns out if you cut the tip of the plastic tube every time you use it, you can use it multiple times

  • @bindiberry6280
    @bindiberry6280 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Just the tip of the pipe tip with a plastic sheet and then use rubber ban or scotch tape to seal it airtight, so no more foam oozing out. Next time, when you need to spray again, you can just remove the plastic sheet.

      My thoughts also. .might be worth the money if you have a lot of holes to fill up. Not so much if you only have one or two holes cause don't look it can be re used

      No. He just didn't read the directions on the back of the bottle. On the orange handle there are several orange pieces, one of them is a little cork that fits in and seals the tip of the tube for later use. Just bought a can today and did it. 😊

    Use a spatula to smooth the foam flat it will solve all your problems from the mess

    • @ocshaman7323

      Do you put anything on the spatula to keep the foam from sticking, or just clean it off afterwards?

    • @Wengertime89YT

      you can actually cut the top off and re-use it they also make other straws you can replace the straw and it will work more but it is a pain, they should come with multiple straws
