Future reference if you have the distributor messed just rotate the engine and the oil pump will drop in place

can i ask a question i have a 86 chevy silverado im on tdc firing order is right and a brand new distributor i have no spark all fuse are good checked and replaced all of them anyways. need help grounds are good too. its a 3 prong hei
Does the main power connector have power to it?
POWER IS FIRST THEN GO DOWN THE LINE CHECKING COIL
Why 10 degrees before? I'm setting it on zero. Could that be why my car is running rough & adjusting the timing wont help?
