Most parents need to chill and encourage their kids to get outside and get some vigorous play, rough and tumble. Finland is world class in early education and they encourage kids to get physical activity before even starting the academic stuff. Not just physical but the sensorimotor systems, like our vestibular sense (balance and gravity), proprioception (internal senses, like pain, or cues for hunger, knowing where your limbs are with eyes closed) and kinetic sense. Developing these systems is shown to provide a strong base for emotion regulation, being able to calm down faster, less tantrums. And it helps kids focus. When you push the academic/cognitive stuff before their bodily senses are developed and fine-tuned then you just get anxious kids. Most kids entering kindergarten have not had enough outdoor play, climbing trees, rolling down a hill, spinning. Their bodies actually crave it and we see lots more kids now kindergarten age that can't sit still at all, spinning on the ground or rocking back and forth. Way too many "educators" overreact to thjs and think it's autism, but if they just have these behaviors (called sensation seeking) but socialize and are talking, it's just a lack of playing.
This is as dangerous as letting 2 A.I's chat for an hour! They will end up figuring out how to take over the planet, then, that life has no meaning, looping and then imploding 😂
