Nah, what thoses aides were saying is that Professor Oak (the Authority Pokemon) is the pokemon they're currently researching, hence why he's in the lab. He was trying to escape when he ran into you trying to go into the tall grass and then you took him back to the lab because he called you insecure. See, it all makes sense.

This wasn't just translated from the original Japanese through Google Translate because "Pokédex" is "pokemon zukan" in Japanese. There's no way that would translate to "dexamethasone" since it doesn't even mean "index". It means "field guide". When I put it through google translate manually, it came up with "Pokemon pictorial book" or "Pokédex", depending on if you use hiragana or kanji for "zukan". Pokéball wouldn't be there either since it's called "monster ball" in Japanese. I wonder how this was really done? It's a really interesting translation because I'm not even quite sure how some of it happened.
The Majin Buu voice you gave Nurse Joy fits soooo perfectly with this dialogue and gives me life xD LOL I would sooo be down to watch an entire playthrough of this version xD

What I can't believe is why the english version hid such important lore. Pokemon need to be jacked up on polypropylene to use moves and Professor Oak is handing out devices pack full of drugs.
