watching this vid in March 2021, still feel the goosebumps.....lots of credit to the videographer with camera on a stick while doing the final portion of the ascent. love and respect to you guys, from Kolkata.
What an amazing experience it would have been for you in 2006 when this route was not that popular. We also need to go back to this expedition once again in future to cross the pass and walk on khatling glacier.
congratulations brother, I can understand every moment's importance. thanks for the vedio. and those Great sages of India who traveled it without any gadgets bless us with strength in our daily life. Har Har Mahadev We too do trekking with our friend Bharat 😘 wonderful job guys
Thank you very much. Shooting the last climb was bit difficult especially all of us tied to a rope but at the end we could portray the beauty of the climb and all its aspect.
Beautifull video and a very nice trek. Congratulations! But the guide should have given everybody crampons with the ascend. If one slips, everybody will slip away and be pulled down the mountain. Just a thought.
Thank you so much and yes the expedition was indeed memorable for each of us. And yeah we will be carrying crampons from next expedition onwards but thanks to our guide we finished the trek safely.
MONEY WORLD thanks ☺️☺️ and congratulations on your Kalindi pass expedition too. I assume you also had a wonderful expedition and many memories from the expedition. We will be going for it next year.
Specially, for the dubbing portion of this video. Near summit the dubbing music was mute and your rapid breathing sounds was creating a real adventures atmosphere. What a brave trek you have completed. Take my regards and respects for your both Col and Rudragayra peak summits.
Guys, I've done Thorangla pass in Nepal, EBC and an unsuccessful summit to Island Peak. Confused whether to do Auden's Col. or Kalindikhal. Pls suggest.
You can attempt either of these pass since you have prior high altitude experience. Maximum altitude of Audens col is similar to Thorangla pass (~ 5400 m).Though altitude of khalindi pass is ~6000m, I dont think it will be a problem if you have good aerobic training and a proper team. Though in chronological order you might wanna attempt Audens Col first. Its a very beautiful trek and you will have wonderful time there. Best of Luck crossing either of the pass.
Hi and it was great watching you guys trek..fantastic job.. This trek is on my list...wanted to know the guide's sh. Devendra shah's contact details....I don't want to go through these organizations...
You should have a prior experience of few high altitude trek and good physical and mental fitness level to take up the expedition. But again prior experience and fitness level is subjective. We did roopkund a year before this and attempted this expedition.
Mayank Gupta we are planning for month of june if interested we can plan together we are 3 in no. If interested to join us we can make our group for Audens col and further treks.
2 times i went gangotri to kedarnath , your guide looks like un experienced else that path is not so hard even perfect guide can pass these 3 passes without rope, they charge heavy money to make people fool, well go there and enjoy the adventure no need to worry .

We had crossed Auden's Col and got down on That long glacier in 2006. There after we reached chowky and from there to Guttu.

The BGM and narration is quite similar to "Return to Meru"
Yeah, it was my favourite movie. Especially the tired horse soundtrack that plays when they summit. 🙂🙂
Congratulations 🎉🎉 all team members Guide Porter's HAP & support staff.
Are bhai log bhi manoj sir ke group ke hain. Cheers bro :)
Congratulations brother ...may i know which camera u used to shoot these videos ?
We used GoPro Hero 5 and Sony RX 100 camera for this expedition
I want to take up this trek ..
Can I know the budget I should have in mind and how can I get a team ?
We did this with North Himalayan Holidays company from uttarkashi. You can expect a charge of 45-60K depending on the size of your team from them.
@V R I am not sure about that since we ain't got it.
Where did u find the guide bro
Our guide was Devendra shah from North Himalayan Holidays.
Congratulations to all of you

I think this is most spiritual track after Raj mata Yatra
Journey indeed was spiritual too. Intention was to go from gangotri to kedarath carrying Ganges water and offer it in kedarnath.
