As someone trying to learn a bunch of older ABR songs it’s somewhat nice to hear the person who wrote it still can struggle to keep up with the speed of the songs.
@@jjs8426 sorry but you can’t be a good guitar player without knowing any music theory but good luck learning that shit without lessons not saying you can’t but it can be hard if you have no one to steer you in the right direction
@Alternative Press What's the song that starts playing at 3:50? Please, I need it like a fat kid needs cake. Also send cake if you can, but first get me this song!
Watched it before it was released from a link on IG or Twitter I can’t remember. But it was nowhere to be found on the channel back then. So yeah I’ve watched it several times with less than a hundred views for about a day or 2.
What song do YOU want JB to teach you how to play?
King of sorrow
Quake
Coordinates.
Coordinates
Lifeline! No, better not xD
That riff sounds so pretty on acoustic guitar
Man what id give to hear this entire song on acoustic
If you search on TH-cam there's a young dude who did a pretty good acoustic cover
I remember when back in 2009/10 i had this song as my alarm clock.
Living Legend right here. Salute to you JB and ABR. Such talent.
Saw the 10 year anniversary tour in Spokane couple weeks ago, I remembered why I love this band so much.
Constellations is my favourite abr album.
You are a legend JB. Ive started learning to play guitar all because of you and ABRs amazing music.
So glad I can say I was taught this song by JB
Big thx for it! I'm really happy about learning something new, especially- some great riffs and chords, love this so much :)

Shout out to people who's parents didnt pay for their music school lol
Who cares? I would argue that it's better not to go to music school.

as a drummer, being self taught is just fine
JB is giant, this Song is so beatiful!!
I was really hoping he'd say "Hey guys it's Jake!"
because his instagram xD
😂 YEA
I didn't know John Heder was in ABR.
Ah.
GOSH!
You nail it all the way JB
YESSSSSS
Does anyone know the Song playing in 3:40 ?? It is no ABR song right??
It’s the song he’s teaching in the video: Mariana’s Trench.
What’s the name of the song playing during the ending of this video?
I do not understand why they got him to teach in E standard when the song is in Drop C
its played the same though
He cant be bothered tuning it down haha
I would guess to be accessible to beginners who are tuned to E standard.
@Ryan Hulla no because the open strings then wouldn't fit with the chords
Love the PRS!!
The intro to Marianas Trench kinda sounds like the intro riff to Call of Ktulu
Thanks a lot! It’s kinda easy but I really didn’t know hoy to play it!
3:50 what instrumen?
What chords are those, JB?

Im asking the same thing
"Meridian" by August Burns Red!
I think he's playing the tag different than he tabbed it in his official tab book 🤔
Funny enough, I was listening to this song before stumbling across this.
Dangit... they covered the headstock with tape. How will I ever know what brand of guitar this is?? 🤔🤔
But I wanted to see how you play the rest of the song 😂
Makes you think " damn I wrote that?, wtf!" I hate when I cant play things I wrote lol
Hate it, because a lot of the stuff I wrote is already out there. Listening to different genres of music helps the creative mind though.
Why is the PRS logo missing from the headstock lol?
Obviously to not get legally intertwined, whether it’s for JB himself or for AP.
because jb use ibanez? hm
I think it's because he has an endorsement deal with Ibanez
speed hard 0--0-0---0-0---0 riff back burner 0:08 and 1:34
Still play this when there is an acoustic guitar that isn't mine. I dont have one.
The intro is fine but the riff and breakdown are tuff for this acoustic version
This is now just coming out? I figured this out a long ass time ago D:
XJman We shot it on Thursday of last week
@@altpress NIce, I love this song and this album
XJman They’ve been touring this record in full, so although it’s a ten year old song, it’s topical-AND it just ruuuules. 🤘🤘🤘
One of their best songs as far as cleans go. Meridian would have been a cool tutorial too
What tunning
Standard or C G C F A D
Well I can play in Standard tuning too. I'm pro
I’m weirdly weirded out by these types of uploads(not the video itself, but on how it’s uploaded)
You don't like people pushing the "Publish" button?
TheRandomSpectator IDK.
Nirvan Jacob Evasco
Wtf are you on about.
What are you on bro?

P R S
Where's the flip flop???!!!
>"How To Play "Marianas Trench"
>Uploaded 2019
A little late there, don't you think?
Ten year anniversary of constellations, you moron.
just play the damn song
It's cool, but it's not so difficult to play to dedicate a whole video to it.
“So essentially I’ve become a better song writer...” Quit being modest.
I'd say different but in a good way lol
