This I believe this is future of handheld, more than any ps or Xbox „exclusive“ jargons. These exclusive devices to play some spinoff was great, but with so many games already on steam and gamepass Rog ally or devices like these are best way to play what you already own than making the collection from scratch just to never have access to them once the console is redundant, currently as the new switch is upon us I’m worried about my game collection. But have games on my pc since of Xbox era.

After purchasing Deck, I intend to have an Ally Z1 Extreme this year! And this is a great video in motivating me. 2024 will definitely be excellent for my handheld collection.

Thanks for watching! That’s true the battery life isn’t the best but that’s expected with what games can be played on this. I get around 2 hours usually however if you think about it you are playing AAA games with a 120hz refresh rate on such a small device. I usually use the ROG ALLY when I am on the couch just relaxing in front of a TV so having it plugged in at all times and just forgetting about the battery life is the best way to go in my opinion! The cable is placed conveniently at the top and I genuinely don’t mind it at all when it’s plugged in. I don’t really see myself going outside just to play games on it as I’ve never really done that with my switch either 🤷🏻♂️

Well if you want to play on high graphics settings at a good frame rate (ahem, sorry Steamdeck users, we know you can dream) then you have to accept a few compromises here and there. Personally I'm never more than 6 feet from a plug, so battery life doesn't matter.
Yes poppa it's the future. It isn't the future per se but is a noteworthy replacement of desktop pcs. Why? Compactness with additional functions of a handheld console which adds a more use case. Its versatility is what's appealing. Currently i do have the steam deck as my desktop pc and it works as you'd expect of a pc. Lately I've beeb eyeing for the rog ally extreme for the extra performance MUAHAHA

Depends what you prefer in terms of being able to play anywhere or in the car or outside etc. If you usually sit down in the room on a couch the definitely PS5 in my opinion as there is so many good games and PS5 is just amazing! 🙏🏼 ROG ALLY is a great addition but you have to decide based on your needs!
@@Neazzy yeah I ended up getting the ps5 last night for the living room for everyone to enjoy specifically multiplayer games like fifa or wwe so we can spend time together when my little bro is tired of playing his Fortnite or CoD,, a little escape from competitive games he like to play in his room.
Both are excellent for different reasons. I've had the original Steam Deck and just upgraded to the OLED, but in my mind I still know the ROG is more powerful but I'm perfectly fine as the games I play can all hit 40 to 90 fps. ROG has better audio and VRR, Deck has better software experience and a better set of custom controls with track pads as well so you're good with either device.

Do games on gamepass need to be installed? It keeps telling me to connect a controller.
You can either stream or download them depending on the game. Try changing your mode in command centre between the desktop, auto ans gamepad mode!
