Sonic finally realizes that using a hoverboard is basically useless since he can easily outrun everybody.
But you need it to compete in an EXTREME GEAR RACE

Jokes aside, not exactly. He still had to make use of special attack shortcuts, and it's lucky for him he's able to use them when he's still on foot without having to be in special attack mode.

@@Lethargy514 Oh, Riders 1 WAS harder. This game is easy to play, but surprisingly difficult to go fast in (especially if you don't know about the trick system).

I tried a lot of times to do this, is possible, of course, but the bridge, its way too hard, i can pass it using save states, but normally playing? No, how you do that?
Your placing on the bridge have to be very precise not to to fall off or touch the rings but it just takes a bit of practice, control, and some luck.
How do you run in the first place?

@@sellout-scott Just figured out the only way is to either play as a character who equipped "The Crazy" or play as Sonic with "Chaos Emerald" equipped: You can't collect a single ring though or you will commence the hover action
It looks annoying because game force you into riding animation when on off edge,jump bounce,etc 😭

This game wasn’t as disappointing as free riders but you can still tell Lizuka was beginning to ruin the franchise here
I guess "ruin" is a bit of a stretch but yes.
lizuka had nothing to do with this game. His main job as manager is to make sure games get finished and released
