    Been replacing batteries since the 1950s but with all the new electrical systems I wanted to be sure there were no NEW issues to worry about. Instructions, video, and voice presentation were well presented. Good job, short and clear.

    Just replaced my 2018 CR-V battery with ease thanks to this video. Only things were at 0:30 it was not that easy pulling off that cap lol. Took a bit more elbow grease to get that bad boy off. Only other suggestion is to wear gloves as well. Nonetheless, this was a great help. Thank you so much!!!

    Thank you very much. Glad I watched your video from start to finish, as I was unaware that all of the electronic systems would give errors while rebooting during initial driving. I do recommend cleaning the battery terminal connectors, using felt terminal protectors, and spraying CRC Battery Terminal Protector after making connections.

    Thank you! Worked for us. The bit about the driving a bit to clear the errors was a relief.

      Agreed. Nice to know I don't have to try to keep current through the system while battery is disconnected.

    Great Video,quite helpful.I appreciate the efforts.Especially when most of the car garbages are inclined to ripping customers .I deeply appreciate all the efforts from people on TH-cam who are trying to help the common public/people to work around car mechanic/troubleshooting/fixing issues.

    Great detailed video and very easy to follow when changing my CRV battery.
    Tip for the wire holder - I was able to unscrew it using the 10mm socket.

    It is better to replace the battery without interruption of power supply, which can keep the electrical parameters of the car unchanged. And the method is also very simple!😊

    • @fretsman68
      @fretsman68 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So how is it done? Please explain?

      How is this done?

    • @pinkisforpimps
      @pinkisforpimps หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@fretsman68You would have to buy a battery tender. This will keep the car connected to a power source even if the battery is unplugged.
      You connect the battery tender to the cables, and then disconnect the battery. Or you can get jumper cables and connect another car to your car's battery cables while removing your old battery.
      Overall, it's not completely necessary

    Thank you. Great video. After the original reset, I have had the reset condition show up 3 times (randomly) since the original battery replacement about 1.5 months ago. Looking to see if others are having a similar problem and if it's something else in the electrical system. Thanks.

    Followed the instructions. It was harder pulling the battery out than putting it in. When I connected the cables to the battery, the horn started to beep. Didn't expect the alarm to go off like that. To turn it off, I had to start the vehicle. Pushing the alarm button on the key fob didn't work.

    My Honda is bricked. I did bring it back to life with the change of battery, but I cannot clear the lights, as the car will not budge at all. I can shift to Drive and Reverse but the car won’t move.
