On this episode I continue PIMPing out a 2016 Stern Spider-Man vault edition machine. Now that the lower playfield has been cleaned and polished, I finish putting everything back new on the bottom. Then start tearing all the mechanisms off the top of the playfield, clean, polish and reinstall everything back like factory.

Great work. What did you use for the clear over your touch up.

I just used a good clear furniture lacquer which self levels itself. It gets nice and hard once cured. I could have used 2 part auto clear but since it has a cliffy protector that goes over the entire front anyway and you really don’t even see the area I painted… but I wanted to build the edge up nicely so it was level with the playfield so the protector would stay nice and flat once the ball travel over it hundreds of times. On the backside of the targets, I also added a nice thick strip of clear Mylar over the lacquer to prevent it from ever wearing again. You don't even notice it 😁
