    It's been one of my most difficult seasons to date. But we always look at the how we can turn negative situations into positive outcomes. We're closing in on being the fittest, fastest and strongest we've ever been... With off-season now being here, the hard work begins for a full NON-LEAGUE diaries next season...🚀

    It's been a minute... This season I felt like I was injured and unable to play for too much of it. Which stopped me uploading. Looking to document a full season with a non-league club next season but would love to add more fitness in the form of Hyrox training & competition... Let me know your thoughts!👏🏻

    Injuries are tough and something every footballer or athlete has dealt with, including myself. Love the transparency and respect all the hard work you put in to your content and fitness, keep going bro!

      don't believe in that bollocks, there's a reason why we don't see top pro club getting their players to train bare foot mate. I know of some of the benefits of course but in general a lot of their stuff isn't the best and thats from years being in a pro academy and signing pro.

    The best thing about this shit season is that there is always next year and now you have to go redeem yourself. There's teams everywhere no matter what level. You can find a chance somewhere

    i did the same thing as u did with ur hamstrings with calf strains, so if anyone is going thru an injury do the required time off and don't go in full on early.

      It's a tough one, I've never experienced much muscle injury so definitely a lesson learnt!

    It’s the gym if you are too big we’ll just lose weight and muscle bc that makes you have injuries

      yeah definitely changed up my style of training and already seeing crazy benefits. Faster, more powerful and 5-6kg lighter already. Hyrox training alongside football technical work seems perfect... excited for next season!

      @@KieranHiggss I'm 41 now mate lol, still playing local, knees are agony for a couple of days after a game but still scoring goals so worth it

    Hyrox is an amazing sport! I still think you should play football ⚽️ but maybe do it for fun instead 👍 then hyrox as your main sport !

    it seems like you are having issues with ligament & tendon strength (dislocations and ACL's) you need to be focussing on a lot more eccentric work if you want to strengthen them up. hyrox is rough on the body so be careful. all the best.

      To be honest my knees are completely fine now! One of them is just slightly more sensitive if I get studded there or kicked hard. My shoulder injury honestly was just a freak accident. The movement it was forced into was very un natural! Essentric works been really good for my hamstrings though! Thanks for the advice man!

    Brother here me out, actually play high level football so not just some kid talking, gym work could be the problem especially if your doing heavy weights. I used to have the same problem switched to more explosive and really intense body weight exercises and I’ve been injury free since. Just something to maybe consider bro because if you don’t change something you will keep getting the same results.

      Nah bro 100% feel you with this. Honestly, my hamstring injury made me re-think my training. I was super unlucky that due to signing on issues I was fully fit but unable to play for about 6 weeks, and when I returned it was the bank holiday fixtures jumped straight into 90minutes twice over 3 days..
      I've always been a super strong athlete, naturally fast and fit and I think I took that for granted. Trainings been adjusted since! I seriously appreciate the comment brother!🤝

    I miss the old higgsy mann. The fortnite streams and football vids with connor. You still amazing bro and I still believe that you can play a good level but not seeing your progress or regularity of vids makes me less motivated if i am honest.

      I feel you brother, been working on a few different things and being injured I just didn't know what to post. But I want to be back being a TH-camr man, miss the conversations and having the community more than anything! To be fair, my main goals now are to enjoy football and continue to train to be the best version of myself, but mainly document non-league seasons & do other fitness related videos, hoping to inspire people! Thanks for supporting though man! (Fortnite days I'll always miss).
