@@KT-de8oe Absolutely. For almost Rs 3 lakh less for the top-spec model, the Kicks is good alternative to the Koreans. If only the car was available with all the engine/gearbox combinations since launch, diesels included.
I have a 2017 Hyundai Tucson. I went with the Tucson because I wanted AWD. It has been one of the biggest mistakes. The first was getting a Hyundai. They don’t care about their consumers. My car has been blowing headlights- having electrical issues (my auto windows go back down when you roll them up, my rear windshield wipers go off whenever they want, my break light seems to go on and off at random. I have reached out because as a company they should only want the best products out there. I was told that “because my car is over 3 years old. There is nothing they can do for me. To bring it to a dealer and “see what I can get” for it. I owe more than it’s worth because one thing they don’t tell you when you buy a Hyundai is they depreciate way faster than you can make payments to survive. DO NOT BUY A HYUNDAI.
I feel its a good car but nissan can do better... Especially when you have the likes of Creta n Seltos... Also if Nissan plans on staying in India then they have to get better at after sales service... Rest is ok...

Thank you for the review since I own the same car for nearly one month. The biggest downside I now feel is the hard clutch. Since I have not driven diesel cars I don’t know how worse it feels (clutch). One question is did you find any disturbing torque steering on your test drive. Hope your valuable comments

I have tested the cvt turbo two days back and it is Beautiful,good ride quality, suspention, precise steering(bit heavier than my punto🤣), great rear seat space.downsides are.. Useless handrest and hand break positioning, Interior materials are all scattered every where. You will forget every negetives when you find a open space in head of you. Thats why they call it Kicks aptly named iy for this turbo

Cool review. I feel that Nissan is being let down by their sales and service personnel. This KICKS feel rigid and robust tha seltos or creta. Now it has got the segment best power output. It's due to the poor service personnel that such a wonderful product is going unnoticed

'cept they accidentally put the steering wheel on the wrong side! Oh, and the climate controls don't make sense. The auto fan button is on the left, but the right knob adjusts the fan. The A/C button is on the right, but the temperature knob is on the left. Again, this makes *no* sense!
Nissan should have given AWD with kicks then it would have at least differentiated itself from other fake SUVs like Creta Seltos Duster EcoSport Harrier ...those doesn't have AWD or 4x4 . A true SUV should at least have AWD OR 4x4 as an option. Now Duster is also a fake SUV like others
The price will b damn quite expensive if compared to creta seltos etc if they add 4WD. The demand for 4WD is low. That might b detrimental for Survival of Nissan.
