I love the detail of Raph being the most aggressive, was the only one who didn't get to kick down a door
Exacly
I was hoping someone else picked up on this 😂
It makes the scene really funny he gets the place with an automatic door.
yeah, but thats also why hes smiling: he gets an automatic door for a cool entrance, and his size speaks for his strength. The size difference between him and mikey is insane
Yes
This scene has no business being this damn good. I can’t stop watching it.
It was just the music In general and overall the action just blends in with it, especially when they played Ante up I had to get out the seat for that😆
@@angryjack7963The BLEND, such a beautiful blend
@@angryjack7963AGREE so fire
The whole movie has no business being as good as it actually is with how the turtles got massacredlber the last few years. But i believe having seth rogan and evan goldberg as writers and producers played a factor of it all.
Bro this is probably the best part of the movie. its so badass
Agreed
Nah, not the best part, but it really is savage
Same
big facts, i was ok with the movie... then blackstreet came up and I was like... this better be epic... this is probably the best turtle scene in TMNT media period
@@dothedew8250in my theater. When this scene dropped..everyone went wild lol
Finally I can satisfy my daily urge to rewatch this scene, thank you
BROO SAME
for real
❤❤❤❤
Just like me fr
I like how the music to me is really calm as there beating everyone up 😌 2:09
I like how Raph, the violent one didn’t kick down a door
Hell yeah other people noticed that too
"The only violent one" bro... they're ninja vigilantes with sharp weapons
@@thembanitheonethe one with rage problems
@@wackydesert53"IT'S NOT A PROBLEM"
But he did look up with FULL intent on fully murdering all of them💀
No but this is PEAK CINEMA. You can tell a lot of love (and money) went into the animation
Facts
That's true
It’s a surprisingly low budget film for an animated movie… only 70 million compared to an average of about 200 million
Yeah hardly any money went into this film. But they also very fairly paid all the animators, allowed them to work 4 days a week and often allowed to work from home to avoid any stress/ crunch times.
@@callumfoxvlogssomething tells me Seth Rogan didn’t want a repeat of the Sausage Party incident
I'm 38 years old. My parents took me to see the very first Ninja Turtles movie all the way back in 1990. This time, I took them to see this one. It feels like such a cliche to say, but I really did feel like a kid again watching this in the theater.
It must be wonderful experiencing the TMNT movie from 1990, and then seeing Animation Advance to see something cool again.
I'm 39. Saw the first TMNT movie around 1991 on VHS with my dad and now I got to see this gem with my 10-year-old daughter in the movie theater. And I totally felt like I was a kid again.
@@dreadfulsam Did you get your VHS copy free from Pizza Hut like most of us did? Along with your VHS copy of The Land Before Time? And, the more important question: did your VHS copy of TMNT have the little league baseball commercial before the movie started? 😄
33 here and I've seen the old movie too with my parents, though divorced and I heard this song once when I was a kid, riding with my mama.
If she was around and I show her this movie and she'd hear this song, I'd bet she'd be in tears of joy while we watch it together like parent and kid again.
TMNT was my very first movie I saw in theaters too lol
“Good. (Pats cheek) You did good. (Sucker punch)”
“Dude! He talked.”

The application of the soundtrack in this movie is about as good as it gets. This scene and Superfly’s entrance were both on point👌🏻
Not to mention the Turtles stealing out the grocery store to "Ante Up" by MOP. I completely agree.
Such an excellent film in every way!
Aye when they played Ante up I definitely got hyped😆
We had some neat music choices for this movie from the clips I’ve seen- Ante Up when the guys go shopping, No Diggity here, Superfly with his beat, and What’s Going On? in the van chase
Words cannot describe how much i love this scene. Especially this part 1:11
Goes hard
Same🥲- IT'S SO ON FIRE^^!!!
It reminds me of the scene in the first Avengers and Sonic 2
Can your list the names of 5 crime bosses who were hired by Superfly?
5 months later: I got the list of names from the mob bosses-
1.Bald Bronson
2.Normal Nate
3.Short Sharon
4.Toupee Tom
5.Bad Bernie
OMG IT HITS HARD
Raph's face as he was doing that flying elbow drop was the funniest thing.
Yeah I know that's so Ralph 😅
He was out for blood
This entire action sequence was badass. God i wish there was more action sequences like this in the movie.
I love it

That was a ten out of ten enzuigeri Raph used there.
i'm actually obsessed with this scene lmao and then they followed it up w the bacon egg and cheese 😭 i LOVE this movie it was so fun

Leo: Kicks down a door.
Donnie: Kicks down a door.
Mikey: Kicks down a door.
Leo: Kicks down a door again.
Raph: The doors opens by itself.
Maybe I’m just over-analyzing but I think there’s something funny about the fact that the most aggresive of the turtles doesn’t get to kick down a door. 😂
I found that funny as well too, Raph the aggressive one yet didn’t kick no door down💀
Bro really doesn't need to open a door
His presence alone is intimidating
@@BlueBoltVA Eh, can’t argue with that. I mean, did you see the sadistic joy on his face when he was elbowing that guy?
They're taking turns taking the lead
Raph Is the only one who didn't knock down a door
Finally! When I first saw this movie in theaters, this scene automatically became my favorite. I couldn’t wait until the next time I saw this scene, and now I can rewatch it over and over right here 😎 it’s so satisfying, the music was the best choice!
Same alongside the car chase, final battle, and mid credits to.
Same especially the first fight scene!!!
Same
About the music: apparently this song is notoriously difficult to get the licenses for, so the directors and the producers tried a few different songs in case they couldn't get this one, but none of their other music choices worked anywhere near as well, so they had to jump through some hoops and track down every member of Blackstreet to get the rights to this song. A similar thing happened with the van chase and "What's Up?" They wanted both the original and the jokey He-Man remix, so they had to track down the original animators of the He-Man video to get the rights to the remix.
@@billyeveryteen7328 that song was recently licensed to doordash as of 2021 i believe... so i can't believe it had to be THAAAT difficult
0:04 this is so satisfactory for me to watch and repeat for some reason.
0:09 I love how, by Making Raphael the only one to calmly open the door, it somehow makes him look more menacing
1:10 And this scene is just as satisfactory to watch, as the beginning
1:29 and this being the final touch in the montage
Best scene in the whole movie.
Over superfly’s entrance?
@@soulodolo6721 Superfly’s entrance was super cool and it’s probably second best, but this was so stylish, well executed and purely entertaining.
@@TheRealClankZoka ngl the more i watch it your not wrong superfly’s was cool but this one definitely was better all around
This is definitely the best scene imo
Especially because of 1:11
Honestly and speaking only for myself, this is maybe my favorite scene from all the movies. The song choice was a perfect 10.
1:11 THIS SEQUENCE IS FUCKING AWESOME
Avengers hold my Pizza
Once the song kicked in, I was lookin around the theater like, “you guys feeling this too?” 🔥
I like how at the start, it shows everyone preparing for what’s ahead of them whilst April is explaining the situation. Meanwhile then you just have Raph getting ready to kill someone

This is why he’s my favorite
@@khizeryusufzai2185 Raph?

This scene is as peak as this art style gets, the amount of dinamic in the fights is amazing, the next movie introducing Shredder so animation is gonna look better, LET NICKELODEON COOK
Yeah what about some multiversal crossover ever since. The casagrandes movie . Since the gods have this multidimensional device thing.
i inexplicably teared up in the theater watching this scene, the animation is just so on point i got emotional lol
I did 2 kid u not
i love that im not the only one who gets emotional and tearful when watching peak animation. i teared up watching spderverse too cause it was just so visually gorgeous.
@@AgentMulder120 you understand me
This was such a great version of the turtles…and they didn’t tone down the weapons. It was funny and pretty heartfelt.
0:10 bro this scene is beyond description! the doorbell rings, as it slowly opens with Raph giving the most menacing, malevolent sinister look. It's like his whole personality is drenched in a twisted darkness. You just know that a storm of pain is about to be unleashed in that room.😤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can we also just point out that we see Bad Bernie running a literal drug lab in a Nickelodeon movie?
I barely noticed that.
I mean it's Seth Rogen
I thought the location is supposed to be a cannery facility. at 0:39 you can see some cans flying in the background.
Last guy’s right, it’s a cannery. His men are working on chopping fish up when the turtles come in, you can see the fish head on the right and some bones by one of the guys on the left. Now it’s possible he was pulling some Crab With The Golden Claws scheme and hiding drugs in tuna cans, but it just looks like this is the legitimate end of Bad Bernie’s business or at least the more harmless end of it where maybe he’s illegally sourcing the fish or something
Is no one gonna talk about how Leo sliced someone's face and splinter put a Taser inside someone's face like seriously some of the fights were brutal
@TURTLEBOI0911 yeah
Leatherhead also did the same thing that splinter did to a krang in the 2012 show
The most aggressive one doesn't kick down a door but at the same time has the most menacing entrance still
Hands down one of the best TMNT scenes ever created!
“Cool teens doing ninja things.” I love this scene!
The fact that this movie deserves an Oscar nom, but probably won’t get one will forever make me sad.
I feel you. I enjoyed this more than any other animated film in 2023
This movie needs to win kid's choice awards for favorite animated movie 💚

Hey don’t use that word that way.
When I say "animation is cinema" I think of this scene right here
Can’t believe this cinematic masterpiece didn’t get an Oscar nom
Neither can I. Because I enjoyed this more than any other animated feature in 2023
When Raph yelled "WHERE'S BAD BERNIE!!!!" I died of laughter
I love how each of the bosses' first instinct isn't to freak out over the giant turtles, but to tell their goons "GET THEM!" lol
there is simply not enough love in these comments for the homage to the TMNT side-scrolling arcade game
1:35 Translate : " I don't talk to stupid turtles! You're looking Toupee Tom! "

I cannot express how amazing this scene is. The flashing back and forth to different areas carries this high momentum. The camera work is diverse, and effective. This is legit one of the best fighting scenes in an animated film ive seen in a while.
Animation team about to be COOKIN when shedder shows up.
I’m cautiously hyped for the next movie
This is legitimately one of the greatest scenes in cinematic history
This scene was awesome but I especially loved Donatello's bo work in this scene.

0:10 Ralph was on demon time on that look Lol
Facts! 😂
The way leo punch grapple turns around slices a chair kicks like bruce lee slam elbow that junkie and runs and slice that delinquent's throat slides on the pool table and frontflips OMG DUDE LEO IS SUCH A BADASS 0:19
It's very normal for highschool kids to be reading newspapers on the hallway 😂
0:06 - 0:20 these sequences are so satisfying to watch
0:17 also straight 🔥
The Mobs from 5 areas says SEIZE THEM
The film was going for like the old video games style where they use to fight in places in 2D. If they ever make this into a video game with that style 100% playing it looks so fire🔥
Yep! it reminded of the Turtles in Time gameplay
They are planning on making a mutant mayhem game
Seth Rogan gotta give you props my man this is dopeness in every way!
It was probably his idea to use this song but it was Jeff Rowe's direction and timing and whoever boarded this who really pulled off this incredible landing
I love how they each had turns having badass entrances! ❤️🔥❤️🔥
Seeing this in the theater with my son made me feel like a kid all over again...
1:29 Raph’s psychotic smile always gets me, you can feel the glee he has in hurting people 😂
I swear this scene lives in my head rent free
This scene is just perfect, camerawork, choreography, animation it’s just perfect.
when the bad guys actually look terrifying you know its a very good movie
The harmony and flow of visual and music in this scene is amazingly beautiful!
Raphael was happy to land that elbow drop 😂
This sequence was amazing. This movie was amazing.
This has to he the best scene in the film hands down, this came out on my birthday and i saw it with my friends and my smile throughout the entire movie (minus Splinter making out with Scumbug) got bigger during this scene, the animation was insane and it was so badass, i can't wait for the sequel.
🤣👍
Honestly. Probably the best fight scene in recent history. Better than anything even marvel has put out.
I lean my body forward during this scene in theater.
Real masterpiece.
THE TRANSITIONSSSSSS
If anyone wants me, I’m going to be rewatching this scene over and over again
I would argue this was the best montage I’ve seen in a theater
Me too
00:20 Leo actually uses his sword on someone! That always frustrated me in TMNT, they have ninja weapons but never used them except to block, so it's kinda refreshing to see them being used the way they're supposed to be!
Tell me one reason why Mutant Mayhem deserves the Oscar:
The reason
Because it was a well thought out well animated well written turtles film
Imagine if there was an Oscar category for best scene. By no means is this the best animated movie last year, but this scene alone would make me happy for it getting nominated at all
It was a shame it didn’t get nominated. Because this was my favorite animated film of 2023
Can’t believe how much I loved this film. My mom even liked it lol
This scene alone shows the skill of these turtles. Remeber they have practically no combat experience before doing this
0:31 Ralph throwing that dude was my favourite part
I'd play dead at that point.
Another one of my favorite parts of this guilty pleasure TMNT movie that I enjoyed imo.
Probably my favorite door kick was Raph's lol.
2:15
Another reason why Raph's my favorite Ninja Turtle besides Leo ;)
Oh man, this scene rocks! I was rocking back and forth in my theater seat while watching this!
Every time I watch this scene on digital, I get up and start dancing. The song choice is pure gold!
I hope this movie gets nominated and/or wins the Oscar for Best Animated Movie.
As great as it is it's gonna be up against some tough competition with Across the Spider-Verse and Miyazaki's The Boy and the Heron.
Yeah! But I think it would compete with across the spider verse, Nimona, and the super mario bros movie. If it doesn't win, I will be so mad!!!!!!!!
I personally think it’s going to be close call between Across The Spider-Verse, this movie, and The Mario Movie.
Same
It’s funny how a movie that can be considered as good, if not better than a Spider-Verse film was made under such excellent and friendly work conditions. Meanwhile Sony’s giving their animators 11 hour long work shifts for nearly 2 years.
Spiderverse changed the game for animated movies, man. This plus The Last Wish are next level in terms of writing, visuals, and action. I’ve never been interested in TMNT but this was one of my top films of the year. This sequence is legitimately jaw-dropping, one of the best fight scenes I’ve seen in a long time. The dynamism, the creativity, that fucking soundtrack…Bravo to the creators, can’t wait for a sequel. Ima be there at the premiere
I was a fan of the last two live action movies produced by Michael Bay. But then Mutant Mayhem shattered my expectations
This is one of the best song chocies for a scene ive ever seen in an animated movie. It never ever gets old
The “Shell Shock” at 1:18 is my favorite part
Bro between this and the Guardians 3 Hall scene, 23 got some of the best action
Also are we gonna ignore that Bad Bernie is running a meth lab?
Leo: dude, he talked.
Raph: uuuh don't You play Arkham?
1:29 the face, Rafael was making when he was going to elbow the mattress salesman is so scary that it made me crack up 🤣
1:11 they need to make a sequel of this tmnt with shredder
If things go well they at least set it up at the end for one
i miss the grin i had on my face while watching this in the theatre
Whoever made the decision to use this song, give that person a raise.
This is one of the coldest scene I've ever seen in an animated movie
This scene and the ante up scene are straight 🔥🔥🔥, they did a fantastic job with the animation and the old school hip hop songs are just the cherry on top and makes it perfect
Leo : Dude, he talked,
Raph : What it was more dramatic effect
I love how Leo gets 2 leads on this. Because he needs his individual moment to shine, but then also needs his personal moment as team leader too
Me too
The way Ralph walks across the beds makes me laugh idk why😂
And fly elbow drops on that dude trying to get away with that face lol
This is more satisfying than the entirety of the internet
Why didn't people like this movie? It's great, a gem of animation and an excellent adaptation that's somewhat different but excellent just the same.
It's "simple story" and ""wokeness"". Alos not as good as Spider-Verse BS talk.
Bottom line some people ARE PURE DUMB
@@FLilly18wokeness where? April was black in some TMNT versions before this movie , and the original comic visual style of her it's completely different from the 80's animation series which is a show that was released after the original source material (comics).
People need to chill about that topic because April not being white (or entirely white) is nothing new since the 80's.
@@ricardosalavisa4490 “woke” has lost all meaning, it’s just translation for “stuff I don’t like”. Also April could be Asian, Indian, or whatever race and the essence of her character wouldn’t be lost one bit
@@FLilly18isn’t woke more of a political and societal propaganda… nothing was brought up about that.. this is what’s wrong with America you let tv decide your fate….nothing new with that..
One of my favorite little details of this scene is how Leo fights using non-lethal blows, while still giving them all painful concussions. It shows how skilled and restrained he is in combat against lesser foes.
I love the Old Boy reference with the "one single cut" side scrolling as the bois are beating the mess out of everyone. This movie was AWESOME
Anyone else notice that when Mikey has his turn to kick open the door, he does the classic pupilless/full white eyes thing that in other iterations of TMNT appears commonly during most battles, which I think we only see once throughout the whole Mutant Mayhem film (at the beginning during the "Very Important Mission" scene, which I'm pretty sure was just a filter inside B̶a̶t̶m̶a̶n̶'̶s̶ Leo's head)? Also, during the shot of Donnie whacking the guy on the pool table, the four balls in each corner of the screen are purple, red, blue, and green. Which is annoyingly close to the colors of the four turtles, but maybe they chose not to use orange because it would not fit with the color palette of that frame. And, it may just be me and my bad eyesight, but at 0:37 there's a heart-shaped black and white sticker on April's laptop that to me kind of resembles April from ROTTMNT. Could be something else or even a celebrity that I don't know or whatever, though.
