Amazing video, thanks so much for taking the time to do all the research and put it together. You mentioned about doing a similar one for the heaters for the winter - that would be great - especially if you did it about the end of September before we need to start warming up our houses!!! Enjoyed this video so much I even watched all the ads lol 😂. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏼
Oh good. So AC is not horrible if used as you do. I'm going to do this in the summer to cool a room before sleeping. I'm thinking that once it gets dark, the house wont continue to heat anyway.
Excellent video/subject matter which has been badly needed ...Bgas standard tariff 2022 1kwh =32p ..mines a 14000btu at 1.5kwh (airconcentre) therefore aircon costs about 50p per hour, just the fan runs out at (50w) 2p per hour...4kwh would be £1.28 per hour.
Fantastic video. I have a 5000 BTU unit would that be the same ? Also when using the aircon unit with in fan mode (no compressor running) will that be similar cost wise to running a normal fan?
It should be about the same in fan mode. I only have wall mounted split system and on that I measured negligible consumption in "fan mode" compared to heating or cooling mode.

Great video, exactly what I was looking for. Thank you
Great video. Thanks for the info.
Solar Power is the key - I run my portable air conditioner only during the sunny hours for which 85% of the time its runs for free.
Brilliant video thanks ps what monitor are you using. ?
Where you buy your smart meter?

You can try Inverter aircon. I am sure will be less then this cost

Hey. I've seen that device on CNN one day. Dose that really tell you how much money you will owe on you electric bill?
1200? Probably 12,000
