Your dad have 9 fingers? He got an extra one. That's a good thing if youre a musician and as a wood worker. If he loses 1 finger, he'll be like one of us, with only 8 fingers.
I really would have liked to hear how precise the saw cuts. I am looking for a table saw to cut plywood for cabinets.
This saw has very precise measurements. My husband uses it for making intricate cuts for his segmented bowls.

How is the dust collection on that saw?
I'd say it's fair but does leave something to be desired, most of which I think the overarm dust collection attachment would probably solve though 👌🏻
