This is the perfect video to hear every ERJ noise possible...the brakes, the squealing hydraulics, the full power whine...thank you!
Glad you liked it!
So relaxing to watch! Kudos to the crew for not trying to stick a bad landing.
Agreed my friend. Sometimes you just have to swallow your pride and say let's try it again haha. Thanks for watching!
Loved the go around..Beautiful country side
another totally epic video love the whole flight never been on a 145 but the leg-room lookked descent and compfy
It’s not bad. In 6’ 2” so that gives you an idea. Anyway, I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching my friend!
Je ne m’attendais pas au Go-around !!!! 😮 superbe vidéo comme d’habitude 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching my friend!
Those brakes though... Shew...
They sure did make a lot of noise haha. Thanks for watching!
Looks like the crew forgot to switch the Beacon light off after engine shut-down :D. Nice video as always!
I saw a video of this airline dumping fuel after takeoff over houses they must have been too heavy. And the guy filming said nothing. I won't be flying this airline.
Wow! I know you had to take a bus to get on the plane from the terminal and the number on it was a big one, B107! That is my favorite number because I know something so cool that reminds me of that number, 107! So funny you were on that bus with that number and the go around too was so intresting during the 1st ever time you visited Ironwood!
Beautiful Video, enjoy this video 👍👍
Beautiful
Thanks for watching my friend!
Aside from landing, my departure taxis were never this long at ORD.
Those dang shamrock ☘️ winds canbe sooo troublesome😄😄, hope you had a good time on the emerald isle. I hope to visit there some time.
Unfortunately I only had a short layover. But I’d love to come back and explore away from the airport!
Nice video!
I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching my friend!
I think some squeaky wheels literally need some grease!
Also, the comments below confirmed my suspicion about the plane floating long and going around on the first attempt. If I'm not mistaken, the plane appeared to be lower on the second attempt, and if so, probably to counter another potential float (which happened on the second attempt as well). But the pilot flying got it on the ground safely and that's what matters in the end.
Ironwood Airport is definitely one of those EAS airfields, I'm guessing only a few flights a week? With a terminal that looks more like a big house than a commercial building lol. It's cool to see more of these small airports getting service restored though. DAC has really been expanding no doubt. Didn't realize how hilly it is up there in around the border of WI/UP of MI.
Great video as always!
Yeah. This 145 has definitely seen better days; but it still gets the job done.
As for IWD, when I took this flight they were getting two daily arrivals. The one here from ORD and one on their 328JET from MSP. I took the 328JET to MSP after this flight. Both only had around 9-11 pax. So it’s definitely the EAS contract doing the heavy lifting at this city. Thanks for watching my friend!
WOWOWOW!! Super-Awesomely Fantabulous views taking off from ORD!! Nice to see that Chicago's recovered from being thoroughly trashed in the Transformer movies. :)
Good distant view of Madison. That's where I went to school, know that town very well. Quite the eventful landing and retake there in IWD. It was fun to watch the scenery transition from dairy farms to northern woods like that.
Glad they gave you a halfway decent snack item. Yes, it's high in refined sugar, but the protein in the peanut better and the antioxidants in the chocolate help offset the deleterious effects of the sugar, so they're not a total one way ticket to Type 2 diabetes.
Anyhow, time to watch today's General Hospital. Jeez!! Why do the writers insist on being so cruel to Sasha like that??? And how did Sonny Corinthos get cleared of all of those federal charges like that?
DAC always comes on strong with their snack options. They offer a variety of candy’s, chips and other snacks all for free!
@@sla31 Good to know. Never heard of this airline - until now. One of these days, you should fly to Mackinac Island and stay in the Grand Hotel. The movie Somewhere In Time did a stellar job in putting this hotel and island on the map. You can get in touch with your Inner Christopher Reeves. And you should also do a tour of the UP of Michigan, go along the shore of Lake Superior. And also go to Isle Royale NP. But remember, Superior, they say, never gives up her dead when the gales of November come early.
Well, anyhow, time for me to get my daily General Hospital fix. There's a new crime boss in town who's been muscling their way into Sonny Corinthos' territory, wants to take it over. This new crime boss is a she. We're going to find out soon who this woman is.
Nice Tupolev buzz ❤
Definitely a Tupolev haha. Thanks for watching my friend!
Great flight! Have you heard United flight decedents 28,000 feet in 8 mins due to pressurization issue?
I hadn’t heard that, but that’s what you do when that happens. It’s imperative to descent fast if the cabin loses pressure.
I don't get why twice, they kept so much power in right before landing.
Yeah that’s a good question. I wondered this too. Especially considering there were only 11 passengers so we were really really light.
Someone should have shown this video to that guy on the San Francisco flight that was crying on world news about a go-around at KSFO
Or better yet, so him this one: th-cam.com/video/Tb-u8j9gX7I/w-d-xo.htmlsi=u_1oiS8UTE6fKm-6
For a while, it looks like you were going to taxi to Michigan!
😂 good old O’Hare.
Unusual departure...level off at about 5,000 at 19:55 then a left turn of about 70 degrees at 20:15 followed by an immediate right turn of about 30 degrees into the climb... Not sure about 'wind' causing the go-around.... looks like he (she) was floating in ground effect and couldn't get it down in time for 6500' RWY ... my 2 cents!
You are correct, the reason for the go-around was due to the floating and nog the winds. Thanks for watching!
Agree. May have shot the first approach with a little extra power anticipating some turbulence on final, given that they appeared to be a bit fast across the numbers and during the flare, so it was slow to settle. Good decision to go around.
@oubrioko it’s also worth noting there were only 11 pax, so we were really light.
I used to fly UA a lot out of ORD when Channel 9 was active so I was able to listen to ATC communications with the flight deck. ATC routinely had flights level off at 5000' and remain on departure frequency for several minutes before clearing the flight to resume the climb out. I think its to control traffic when MDW and ORD have tons of outbound flights
@@callowayman Yes...that is true..the level off is normal.......but the 2 consecutive turns in different directions was a bit odd
Now to dfw to ord
I’d send Denver Air a link to this video. I’ll walk to Iron Mountain!
Hey, the noises and go-around aside, the service was excellent 😁.
@@sla31 I’m sure everything was safe! I shouldn’t be so critical.
@@icefishdaily I’m sure it was, but boy it sounded bad. So you’re not wrong on that respect.
@@sla31 on the plus side, it sure beat walking or driving from Chicago! LOL
The pilot knew that he was going to fast thats why he had to turn around and land again
I don’t know that they were going too fast, but we definitely floated in ground effect. There were only 11 passengers onboard so we were very very light.
@@sla31 okay
👍
A little more editing might be in order....
How so? Do tell. Too much more and then it’s not the full flight 😂. Which is kind of the point 😂.
I think this plane needs new set of brakes.
Not at all! Noise doesn’t mean replacement for carbon brakes!
Yeah I don’t know if they need replaced, but they sure made a lot of noise haha. Thanks for watching!
plane sounds and old dying dog ....lol
Yeah this one definitely has seen better days. Thanks for watching!
Landing was too long lol go around. I will never take this airline. I saw one time they dumped fuel on takeoff.
what is that whine? thats horrible
That would be the brakes. I think it's safe to say they were at the end of their life haha.
