I've written a bunch of essays on songwriting/creativity/mythology. I plan to have them all in a proper book someday. Right now i'm just reading them here on youtube for fun and friends. Great advice! As you say, the song is its own separate being that has to breathe, see with its own eyes and stand up by itself. Wonderful-this is a work of art in itself.
