    • @HoopVenue
      @HoopVenue  ปีที่แล้ว +60

      McDaniels is by far the best defender Gobert's ever played with. This team has by far the best secondary rim protection he's ever played with. Ant's one of the best on-ball defenders he's ever played with.

    Tatum is either completely pedestrian or a superstar on any given night with hardly any in between. He may be the most up and down star I’ve ever seen. With Tatum it’s a cycle.

    Gobert is prolly the reason why the Nuggets struggle in their first round during the playoffs. Similar with Dwight during the bubble. Small ball is good and revolutionary but the presence of defensive-oriented big men is still necessary in a way.

      I agree with Gobert but using Dwight as an example is laughable - he was there purely to foul out as the Lakers could afford that, nevermind the insane free throw differential they were already having

    The Timberwolves and the Cleveland Browns are very similar teams this year
    They both have the best defence in their respective leagues this year
    Histrically Both had bad draft picks@trades for many years
    Browns had 2 winning seasons in 18 years and 2007 and 2020
    And tImberwolves also had 2 winning seasons since 2004
    2018 and 2022 and actually 2023 too when they went 42-40
    Browns were close in 2021 going 8-9
    But its not surprising to see both of them rising to the top at the same time with a top defence

    In order for Tatum to get his team over the hump is that he needs to be a better playmaker. In a roster where he and Brown ISO a lot, and don't create plays for others consistently, the offense will not be as reliable during a 48 minute game. Tatum for his career averages 3.3 assist per game and has not averaged more than 5 a season and you never see him create plays for others at a consistent rate. Either he or Brown has to improve on that
