Why were there 3 pedals on the floor, but Power Glide logo on the trunk. Wasn't a Power Glide an early automatic?

Yes it was for the 2 speed automatic slush box

Mi abuela a principios de los años 80 tas compro uno pero de cuatro puertas estaba abandonado en un taller , la pintura en mal estado , no tenía cojinería ni tampoco motor ,fue una ardua labor restaurarlo y duro poco más de dos años en la familia ! Lastima! Saludos desde cali Colombia....

So, during restoration they were only able to find a trunk lid Chevy maker for an automatic equipped car? Or did they install a three on the tree tranny/clutch/linkage/pedal to replace a previous powerglide automatic?
