Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living outside the Philippines due to job assignment. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my TH-cam Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.
I have come to a point of trying to find a greater purpose in life, something beyond just being happy for a moment. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.

btw this video as you said is bitter sweet. It's sad to know that there are children in this world who do grow up without parents but it's also good to know that many of them do find health and happiness through friendship as depicted in this video.

Still got tears from watching this video..it hit me really hard back when this ads first aired about 10 years ago. Classic and really sad ads
It was the orphans with disability's character.. the music.. the background call for the day (the takbir).. and above all.. the passion and love to visit his passed away Mother.. and shared the love by his friend..

It's a charity home that takes care of orphans, the less fortunate/poor, those from broken homes, etc.
Hari Raya is around the corner, some of them will go back to their families and celebrate the eid. Some will just stay and celebrate amongst them.
So, the blind boy is following his friends to visit his mom. Balik kampung just like the others where actually his mom had passed on . 😢

This Ad never fail to make us cry...but this indeed one of the best Raya Ad ever. May i request u to react Dari ICU KE LIANG LAHAT. This docu was made to showcase everday life of frontliners during the pandemic. The hope is that if this is shared n reacted, it might give others to know what our frontliners r going thru. TQ
