Brownstone has consistently stayed as one of the best r&b groups ever! The reason for that, is because they actually sing their lyrics, unlike other people that just talk through the song and harmonize. They are true talents! I can't get enough of them! 💯🔥❤️

The 0G Brownstone w/Mimi would blow any girl group out the water with just them singing acapella. They sung this live on Video Soul no music gave me chills.
I love their sound, always have. My mom would play the cassette ALL the time when I was a baby and would let me eject the tape and flip it to the B side lol. So I grew up listening to this and I still listen to it because it is R&B music at its best. I also love this group because each member had a solo on at least one song on the album. Usually they all had a part on every song. I hate it when groups only have one lead. You can just have uncredited backup singers instead of a group if the others are not going to have solo parts. Brownstone is the definition of a good trio.
I remember loving this video when it was out. My mother used to call Nikki, "that big mouth lady" .. Lol..every time this video would play, she would say, there goes that big mouth lady lol
An all time fave. If you're only recently discovering this song, make sure you listen to the album version of it as well. The video is great, but it's an edited version of the song and you miss out on the beginning and the full ending, both of which are special and will make you love the song more.

I love their sound, always have. My mom would play the cassette ALL the time when I was a baby and would let me eject the tape and flip it to the B side lol. So I grew up listening to this and I still listen to it because it is R&B music at its best. I also love this group because each member had a solo on at least one song on the album. Usually they all had a part on every song. I hate it when groups only have one lead. You can just have uncredited backup singers instead of a group if the others are not going to have solo parts. Brownstone is the definition of a good trio.

An all time fave. If you're only recently discovering this song, make sure you listen to the album version of it as well. The video is great, but it's an edited version of the song and you miss out on the beginning and the full ending, both of which are special and will make you love the song more.
