This song reminds me of the time my aunt was on drugs and I didn’t understand it. The hospital came and wheeled her out on a stretcher and I’ll never forget it. They look in her eyes. She wanted help. Well that was over 20 years ago and she’s been drug free now for years. Amen 🙏🏽 Its amazing how music and certain smells can bring back so many emotions and memories.

My wife and I listened to this song REPEATEDLY when we first started our relationship before getting married. We've been married now over 25yrs, and this song by Mary STILL takes me back to those times we used to chill in Staten island at fam house, coming all the way from Brooklyn to Manhattan hopping on the ferry and shit.... beautiful times with wifey, not alot of money back then, but we were STILL happy. This song brings back all those memories and feelings. Peace to Kenny Greene who wrote this song, and peace to Mary J. Blige for singing it. Music has power.
She definitely *delivered* the vocals this song needed! This is exactly how I envisioned the vibe in my head before ever watching this video today, so they nailed the video and the looks too! Mary is a gem 💎. *Chef’s kiss!* 💨 🔥
One of my all time favorite jams! Ain’t nothing like the 90‘s! Also beautifully written by Kenny Greene (Rest in Paradise) as well as beautifully sung by Mary J 👌🏼
