Congratulations on that MPC 61 dope beat modern house ish! I want one this is what they should have made in the year 2000 when they were making all the different NPC Hardware / standalone-ish this is what we all wanted now if someone could just lend me 1800! PS it's actually not a bad price for what it is I paid $2,000 for my MPC 2000 XL back in the day! PS always love your videos!
I have mpc live 2 and arturia keylab 61 mk2 and then they wanna drop the whole shabang. It will make space and I use mpc software so it'll work out better for my workflow. Still waiting tho. I have atlas and kit after kit after kit. I can't wait til they ship this bad boy
Hey Ave for the basslines do you follow the melody, the chord progression or do you just hit notes that are on the scale of the key that the sample is in?

What’s the point of processing sample I’m trying to wrap my head around the concept and did you chop up the sample before processing?

I like the beat I just don't what kinda a beat it is not west coast and not east coast but that bass line is FUNKY!!
I ended up changing the drums because they were terrible.
