- Today's video! We take the Style 44 wheels off of our E46 Wagon and give them the cleaning they deserve. These wheels are quite obviously pitted and beyond detailing realm repair. But it sure is a lot of fun completely changing the look of such a grubby set. They were completely covered in tar, road grime and brake dust, the faces were heavily stained and required minor sanding to remedy it. All in all they made for a super satisfying transformation. @@ChromaticGarage I had to modify the housing (made holes on it) in order to clear the studs that came with the machine. I really don't know how some people get it to fit without any cutting. You might just wanna use a tapcon if your walls are concrete and it'll clear the bracket much more easily than the studs that come with the machine.

That iron remover i think has the least offensive smell of the lot. I tried voodoo iron and couldn't even stand in the open garage it was so bad 😂

Great video, can I ask the black marks on the rear of the wheel and bolt inserts, couldn’t these be cleaned off or buffed using the small polisher? I just thought the wheel looks so good just seemed a shame not to really finish it

I see you really seem to like Griots FCC and Meguiar's microfiber pads. Is that a capable one step combo? Or did you follow up with a polish and not show it. I use 3d one now.
I use lake country microfiber pads but there basically the same! On paint I would polish after but on these busted wheels I’m not too worried haha

What tip and dilution ratio are you using in the iK Foam foam pro 2? I've tried all of the tips with different ratios and mine just spits out a small stream...
