I have a 2020 Honda CRV. I love it! I have been getting occasional AWD SYSTEM PROBLEM messages along with a chime. The Honda mechanics say “ we drove it and didn’t see the warning light. They can’t seem to explain to me why this is happening. Help
My car is 8 months old and I didn't know all these features. It would have been nice if the sales man sat down and spend 15 min to go over these things with me.. my brain can't retain all this but I will learn as I go along. I just went back to my sales guy for him to hook up my navigation to find out the car software needed updating. How was I supposed to know.. wow.. its alot
I've exhausted myself and haven't seen anything in mine and you didn't mention it in your presentation so I'm going to assume that this vehicle doesn't have a way for the driver to pop the trunk.
I use android auto which will screen play your phone to the screen on the dash. It works far better than any nav out there on virtually any car. You can even use your phone in your pocket with a 60 dollar piece of tech off of amazon called a "Car Play/Android Auto wireless adapter". I got one for 59.99 on Amazon and it works great.
D has power set to 20/80 front-back tires S has it at 40/60, and L at 50/50 since it’s for towing To get the 50/50 ratio out of more than just Low gear and turn AWD on, you have to be in a condition where stability control senses ALL wheels have no traction (sand, gravel, or in all cases where my AWD has kicked in, 3-4 inch snow leaving a parking lot for work) Unfortunately, unless you have a 4WD version, that’s the only way to have it on continuously. Light 1-2 inch snow that a 4x4 Jeep can plow through at 35-45mph, an AWD CRV can comfortably do it at 15-25mph max. AWD will kick in when at stoplights and you have no traction, but only for a couple seconds.
AWD will switch over to 4WD when needed. it does not require you to do anything other than drive the vehicle. For this, I do like it! So much easier to use for the average person.
I have a higher model, the EX. Only the 2 front seats are heated, not the wheel. I'm going to assume that if the EX doesn't have that feature, then neither does your model.
The heat should kick on depending on the outside temp. The defrost and heated seats you would have to leave on before getting out for them to be on when you get back in the car.
justin fuller oh ok. I left the heated seat on and the defrost before I turned the ignition off. However it was not on when I remote start it. Any other way to ensure that they are gonna be on when I start the car with the remote?
I've tried it too. The defrost is never on when I remote start the car. I don't think there's a way to do it unless you pay to have the app on your phone and then it on that way.
The Honda Link either never works properly or stops working after a few weeks. Just stops. Doesn't sync info etc... They really need to fix this app. How will it work if you get into an accident?? It's supposed to call emergency. Good luck. I love the rest of the vehicle. I have the 2017 AWD Touring.
giants22 if you're having issues with connectivity here's something you might want to try- first delete the connection to your car( should be labeled hands-free link) out of your phone. Next on the touch screen of the car go to settings, then go to Bluetooth / WiFi then go to Bluetooth device list. From there remove the connection to your phone from the vehicle. After you have removed both reconnect up to your car. I have found that sometimes when your phone updates it affects the connection with the car. This might be what's causing it to drop out. Whenever iPhone / Android has a new update I tend to see customers coming in with issues like that.
what a headache. crazy, and way too many distractions from actual driving and the road. The CRV EX of 20 years ago was way better, and more well, made for people, it even had a cassette player and a picnic table.
Just bought this car and it's my first honda. This video was very informative and right to the point. Answered all of my questions about the tech
Thanks for watching!
Excellent job at a quick run through. I love my 2018 CRV. The technology makes driving much safer. Honda did a great job.
Love my 2018 Honda CRV, all-wheel-drive absolute beast in the winter time I can get through anything
So much info in 8 minutes. Great video, thanks!
Very very informative, I’m looking to buy ASAP. Thank you so much for this video and it was brief
Thanks for watching!

Wow my car is almost 2 years old and I’m still discovering things. I’m sure the Saleman did go over all this, but the brain can’t retain it all
Thanks for watching! Glad to help!

Thanks for watching!
Thats whats going on right there!!!
How do you know if the collision thing is on? The one under the lane departure thing.
There’s only a light for it off, so if you don’t see it then you’re pretty ok
Very nice car, love it, unfortunately it's about $60k+ where I live.
The seats. Do you find your head tilts forward? The head rests I mean
I know what you are asking and it does not seem to push forward where you can not get your head comfortable.
Yes i do..its uncomfortable
How to activate all wheel drive I mean 4 wheel drive ?
I've exhausted myself and haven't seen anything in mine and you didn't mention it in your presentation so I'm going to assume that this vehicle doesn't have a way for the driver to pop the trunk.
Not from inside. The EX model doesn't come with a powered lift gate.
Does this model have a navigation system?

how about power tail gate?
EXL and above trims for 2018.
How do you turn on the awd in this vehicle?
D has power set to 20/80 front-back tires
S has it at 40/60, and L at 50/50 since it’s for towing

Nice run through, but how do you turn the all wheel drive on...or is it just always all wheel?
Good question..am assuming its always on
How we can use 4 wheel
Okay but what were is the inflate iam5
Were is the indakayt
how to activate the awd in this truck?
It will activate automatically.
@@JustinFullerReviews thank you very much friend
How does the AWD work?
AWD will switch over to 4WD when needed. it does not require you to do anything other than drive the vehicle. For this, I do like it! So much easier to use for the average person.
Justin Fuller thank you! That’s so nice! I was trying to figure out how it works
I have 2018 honda crv lx how do i heat wheel?

What does the "L" mean? Is this 4 wheel drive?
How do I get the heat on, the defrosting of the windows on and the seat heating going when I start the car using the remote start..??
The heat should kick on depending on the outside temp. The defrost and heated seats you would have to leave on before getting out for them to be on when you get back in the car.
justin fuller ok thanks! I appreciate you sir. I will try it. Do I also need to turn off the eco? Does that affect it?
@@clintonhenry2790 ECO Button will dampen the heat/AC. But it will still run.

The key has a trunk opener but it doesn't open the trunk
It unlocks the trunk. If you were looking for a powered tailgate, you would want to look at the EXL model.
Is this too small for a 6ft 4 man?
At that height I would say go sit in one to be sure...
Does ex trim has blind spot monitor?
Muhtasim Ahmed it does
It does have a blind spot monitoring system.
The 2022 exl does, love it
Nice job but where's the fire?
John Daugherty it would help if you slow down some!

Ok, Thanks Justin, did that and works...for now, will keep an eye on it and will do again when I update phone. Thanks for the great videos.
Repetition, that's what's going on there.
7:05 LOL
I like the pilot more cargo and tv in back ON EXL crv is the worst no cd player not good so I suggest pilot
We are thrilled to not have to deal with CDs.
what a headache. crazy, and way too many distractions from actual driving and the road. The CRV EX of 20 years ago was way better, and more well, made for people, it even had a cassette player and a picnic table.
Does it have a heated steering wheel?
No. Only the front driver and passenger seats are heated.
