Intel and AMD are both solid choices. I personally use a 10900k that’s incredible and has held up extremely well over the last year or so. The new Ryzen 5000 series is said to be very powerful as well as the new 11th gen. Theres massive debates on both side but they are both very good options, you may find that for your workloads a Ryzen 9 might be the better choice since it has more cores for multithreaded applications.

An i7-7700k can definitely stream HD and even 2160p games if u wanted to. Unless ur playing full RTX super HD 4k games while streaming its more than enough and should not be an excuse to not stream because you don't have enough equipment
@@dzejkob9042 my friend uses an older iMac with an i5 and is able to stream valorant and other games at 1080p when using boot camp. It’s not an equipment thing

In regards to streaming Issues alex, have you thought about just using OBS on both Systems but have the capture card source as well as other sources be sent over LAN to the streaming system. Then use that system directly to stream to Twitch. That way you're essentially just casting through the Local Network. I'd suggest putting a switch strictly for NETWORK + Gaming PC + Streaming PC on the ports. This may help

Nice tour. Depending on how much gaming you do and which games you play, it may be worth playing at 1440p 165hz or 240hz, rather than at 4k 75hz. Also consider standing your PC's on some wood that matches your desk rather than carpet, so as to reduce potential dust or static issues.
@@OlafPawbelt To be fair, dust of course is everywhere in a room but static can serve as a natural magnet attracting dirt and dust to carpet coating. So sitting a PC on carpet isn't ideal. He has a PSU shroud in his case, so the PSU fan may be drawing air in from the bottom of the case which is close to the carpet. Some people wear anti static bands, remove jumpers and don't build PC's on carpet, in order to limit any potential static build up, which can damage PC components. Given he also has a dog that can walk on the carpet and rub up against the PC's, shedding fur etc, he would be better with his PC's higher up on his desk.

Hi Alex. What issues are you having with setting up the stream rig? Install the capture card into MSI pc and then setup stream labs obs / obs plug cable from gaming pc to to stream pc and then from stream pc to monitor.
2 PC set-up is easy. Use OBS with NDI and set-up all of your scenes on your gaming PC with all of your audio. On your streaming PC also have OBS and just pick up the NDI source from your to stream to Twitch/You Tube
Should built a custom glas housing with that empty space on the left of your desk for like cool art and figuers Would be dope with some soft LED light! Plus there is another video right there!
hey just wanted to tell you you might have better audio if you get speaker/monitor stands or risers. The speakers are on the desk itself and the audio gets a little muffled when they vibrate on the desk. a speaker rider or stand would raise it up a little and they contain rubber or whatever that absorbs the vibrations from the frame of the speakers. Unless it's already on risers? it's kind of hard to tell
You gotta go with AMD it’s not even a question anymore man, don’t know what quality you’re planning on streaming at but my Ryzen 7 3700x can stream 1080 and 1440, you can also use your graphics card to run your stream rather than the cpu if it would be better?
@MarzBarVlogs If you're still thinking of upgrading your PC, I suggest AMD because their CPU's are much better for single PC streaming where as Intel is more for single core use

AMD can help with the streaming but realistically you'll wanna upgrade the gpu to take advantage of nvidias software therefore you won't necessarily need to upgrade the cpu. i7 processors can handle alot more than you think and if you have the K version of it you can overclock it to help boost performance for all your needs like work, gaming etc
so u play games with ur head turned to the right hahaha, u could have 1 in the middle directly infront of u then 2 either side and its the same distance away if u wrap the monitors towards you
he would probably need to swap out the motherboard because of the difference in chip sets but saying that he would probably have to swap out with another motherboard regardless of what he goes for CPU wise.

sorry to break it for you, there is as much dust i the pc even if you stand it on something like a table like there is dust on the floor

AMD is the move for multiple processes (streaming and gaming) I'd recommend a ryzen 9 5900x

7th gen intel definitely will allow you to stream games. are you using NVEC as your encoder?
It will hit 100% load though which will cause throttling and reduce performance
