@@iamkelvins yeah they got so much respect for each other, they both are legends of Australian music. If you wanna check out Jimmy Barnes when he was even younger check out him singing a cover of “a change is gonna come” th-cam.com/video/Gv7wD2-yGdg/w-d-xo.html
Kelvin I am super impressed with your reaction to this awesome performance. So much more enjoyable and yet we still see and hear your happy smile and great analysis. Congrats my friend. This is the best version of When Something is Wrong ....Jimmy & John are great mates and the guitarist is Jimmy's brother in law. Looking forward to more from you now. Waiving from Australia
The guy on the guitar and singing is Johnny Diesel, he is a:singer; songwriter, and a musician, he had his own band, and also went solo. Diesel is also Jimmy Barnes' brother-in-law.
Jimmy Barnes is Australian Rock Royalty first with his band Cold Chisel then a solo career that is still going , check out Jimmy Barnes and Joe Barrommossa STONE COLD
John is magic live. His concerts are the best. You should look for a video with John singing opera with Anthony Warlow. He is older than here but funny and great. It is The Main Event Concert and they sing Granada. Anthony is also famous here for his voice and acting in stage musicals. He can sing opera but this is supposed to be funny.
Loved your beaming smile listening to John and Jimmy. The song was written by 2 Americans Isaac Hayes and David Porter in 1967. Wild guess, vid looks about 1980s or 90s. Someone will know.
Jimmy Barnes and Joe Bonamassa has done a few songs together also, ' Deep Purple's LAZY , Jimmy's song ' STONE COLD ' and ' TOO MUCH LOVE AIN"T ENOUGH ' React to them please, you will be pleased I'm sure.
Now that's live music at its best. Nice appreciative reaction. John has just turned 70 and Jim is late 60's and they sound pretty much the same as they did 20-30 year ago.
Much better reaction, I could hear John and Jimmy sing and your reaction! I have a hearing problem so the last couple of reactions you did with John just sounded like a jumbled mix of you and John and I couldn’t hear either. This is way better, thank you!
Great Reaction. You are fast becoming one of my favourite reactors ..keep it up. This was recorded 1991 so John 42 and Jimmy 35. Or there abouts. It was a live perfotmance on a TV Show. These 2 guys are dynamite. Can't wait to see more
John is in his 70s now and his voice is still the same and as for Jimmy he's 66 yrs old now and today announced he's going on tour again. Yep u guessed it his voice is still at it ever was like John.
What a shame that their American record labels never promoted our World class singers internationally. Thanks to you guys and U Tube. They are now enjoyed all around the world. Shame on their record labels.
Aussies best kept secret over the years, so much epic music produced over the time by both artist, power kegs in the music industry. Back log of many hits, you're only just scratch the surface.
Such a genuine reaction . If you want to hear more of Jimmy look up Cold Chisel , particularly Bow River. Of course Johns version of Help , live of course , is also something that has to be heard to be believed.
Hi. If you like John Farnham here are some must see songs. = Angles, live 2000. = Amazing grace, 1987. = When the war is over, the last time, Melbourne 2003. = Help, Live with the Melbourne symphony orchestra. = It’s a long way to the top, the first time with the Melbourne symphony orchestra. = please don’t ask me, with Oliver Newton John. 1998. Enjoy.
So cool to see your reaction to what has to be some of the finest music ever performed live! Sadly the American music scene didn’t embrace too many artists from abroad, unless they could strike immediate gold. Cold Chisel could easily have done so! I’m a bit pissed off their music wasn’t showcased here. I got it now, but woulda loved it then!
Oh yes ! I hear that diesel( guitarist) was brother in law with john and he is also a singer and have a band, I'm so curious now I'm going check him out
And that ladies and gentleman is no Auto tune. Aussie rock rocks.
Oh yea 💯🤟🏾🤟🏾🤟🏾🇦🇺🇦🇺
Love how all three of these singers compliment each other.
Cheers for your reaction.
This performance and trio are just 🔥 🔥 🔥. So much soul can’t get better then this. This is what music is all about.

Oh yea it very very difficult to be mainstream when you not from America even with the talent I think you need a little bit of luck too
Try jimmy in the early 80s for young
My guess is this would be very late 80s or most likely early 90s
Have a listen to Joe Bonamassa and Beth Harts' rendition of ' I'd rather Go Blind ' please
No no I have not heard about them
Hey mate, you should check out diesel (guitarist) with his band doing “Crying shame” it’s quality 👍🏻🇦🇺
