Picked this up at my local game store the other day based on Tom and Sam's recommendation. Very pleased with it. The rulebook is very clearly written, the component quality is spot on - I agree with you on this point Sam, it doesn't need miniatures. It's thick, high quality card stock and I certainly don't think I was sold short. The art style is perfect, and helps to turn a game which could've felt somewhat dark to instead feel fun and lighthearted. The mechanisms in play are interesting and easy to learn/teach. If I had to sum it up to someone who hasn't played it, I'd say it's like taking Lords of Waterdeep, adding a splash of Power Grid's economic considerations and - depending on your group - a little bit of Munchkin's mean streak. Love it. Great job on the review guys.
Fat man and little boy. I named my two black cats after the bombs. I just bought the game. Still in the shrink wrap. By the way, that was the name of the movie with Paul Newman…..Fat man and Little boy. Shadowmakers in England.

At first I was like "hmmm... this looks boring" then I was like "hmmm... I'm gonna buy this!"
The bomb names are Little Boy and Fat Man. Also, nice review, the game looks really cool, and i hope it only gets better with the "mini"-expansion.
I'm interested to see the Mega Expansion, to see how Brazil works, and to see the H-Bomb.
This, or Carson City?
The mini-exp. adds so much theme :)
Recently found y'all and I love your clips. I must say though that I cringe every time I see y'all dump the game out.
LOL Try watching the board game breakfast.
Adam Vagus Jajajaja my brother also cringes but I just get a laugh out of it
