I actually made some very brutal thall type riffage earlier with this plugin. The white amp works really well with an 8 string with active pickups I found. This is definitely one of my favorite Neural DSP plugins, along with Archetype: Abasi.

I would love to see neural release the multi voicer as a separate plugin. This is a cool archetype plugin but I'm not sure I need any of the other features.

Neural have really nailed the art of scatteing a few cool and unique features across many plugins! XD Personally, I think the Nameless is the one that has the most unique sound out of their whole catalogue, but the Nolly and Gojira plugins offer the highest value as an all-in-one suite.

You have a way of explaining everything and it just makes complete sense to me, I've been practicing guitar for a few months and I haven't been making much progress until I found your channel. The "Polyphia tone" was always dead-simple. It's just a Strat neck&middle pickup combination into a Vox AC30-type amp into an Orange cab. Playing like Polyphia was the hard part.
I literally have an AxeFX 3 and an Ibanez AZ2402 (which is what Tim used for the GOAT album) and I can’t come close. I only managed to get partially there after doing an EQ Match with FabFilter. I think the unique part is the cabinet or impulse that’s being used…or maybe I am dead wrong, idk. There is a huge notch in the 2K range though, when I took that out it started to finally sound like it. Maybe I am using the wrong pickup position 🤷♂️
@@whatskraken3886 Yeah I was going to say. They use orange cabs LIVE. Their live tones sound literally nothing like the album tones. Their lives tones are more classic rock type sounds.

Just beautiful tones and playing. Thanks. Always great to see a new speciality from the guys over at Neural. Multivoicer alone is a worthy buy and I can't help myself. The pink is just beautiful as well. So great they went this special road and state it with confidence. "No one" "needs" the 100th metal amp anyway :) The shimmer is so free of of the box. Usually you have do extra processing on an DAW AUX send track chain when using a shimmer. So cool. Only thing I love to see in addition from Neural is to have all those pedals effects as seperate plugins. The finest and most beatiful sounding reverb is useless in a mix (or even an annoyance for an engineer if it's already burnt into the sound), if you can't process it further on a seperate AUX track and use early reflection in front of it and do dynamics or modulation afterwards. And than you add this worked out, track fitting efx signal, to the tone of the amp. That would be awesome. So it's more of a play solo kind of toolkit to me.

Thats pretty darn close. I think in this case you can only get so close with whatever amp/guitar/effects being used and the rest of the tones in the fingers...but that sounds really good and you totally do a good job at sounding like Tim H. You're able to capture his sound a bit.
I have watched 2 reviews of this today so far and they both barely showcased the tip of the iceberg with this thing...ill be back at the end of this video to tell you what I thought.

I want to ask you this because I haven't been able to find a SINGLE answer to this question ANYWHERE on the internet, I'm sure it's my fault because I'm not sure what to search up. I use this plugin too. I know that the preset tone doesn't sound exactly like this, there's a lot of work done in post to make the guitar sound spatialized and complete. Can you briefly explain what you do or what I need to look into? I use Ableton and I'm working on projects, but I don't know how to make a guitar sound final in post, only know how to mess with EQ and compression, that sort of stuff.
I noticed some cool options that add 11th, that's awesome for m11 chords which are beautiful, but If I play a chord progression with a major chord, I don't want an 11 in it. How can I selectively add harmonic voices only where I want them? Ie only the 11 on minor chords? Do I have to record each chord separately and use a separate instance of the plug in? In that case may not be worth it - or may just force me to use a progression of only m11 chords. Thanks so much
Hey, your song was great, really great actually - a step outside of what we typically hear you play and that is cool. Also the riffing around sounded great, the lead sound was fantastic, the modern metal not so much. Vocoder was A+. Oddly enough I just the past couple weeks I have been trying to figure out how to get the tone from Polyphia's song Persevere. But this amp does not sound like it at all - so I am thinking since they collaborated with Aaron Marshall on that song it must be rhythm tone that we are hearing - so I was sooo excited to see this video but still am left trying to figure out how to get that tone - any ideas or help would be awesome. Not disappointed with this plugin by the way at all, it was pretty solid it's just that it doesn't cover that specific tone. Check it out if you haven't heard it, the tone is really something special. Also where did that Jackson come from? I must have missed something, that thing looks like a BEAST!
Don't mind me, just "guy who heard Polyphia and wanted to get into guitar because of them" #20,931,885 here. I want to buy guitar and amp and I already have a daw that I am (really terrible at) using. I have no idea all the things I need to get to connect guitar to my pc, but I use FL Studio of that helps. Just saw you use literally the exact same DAW lol
All these presets come included with the plugin. Keeping my mouth shut on this one was very hard. It's finally here!
