Upon hiring on at a drilling company the "office manager"(with a forestry degree) asked if I'd be interested in being a project manager. He outlined the scope of work and I told him what I'd do it for. He hired a guy 3 weeks later. I got out when my "project manager" didn't show up to a job one day because he'd completely filled his service body powerstroke with gasoline. Ineptitude and nepotism really seem to rule the world
